Once again, the same scholarship can be given to students of different grade levels. The eligibility for a same scholarship for a student of class 1 will be different from that of class 12.

Means Based Scholarship
- Means based scholarship are the ones that are offered to the candidates in need more than the ones who deserve.

Merit-cum-Means Based Scholarship
- A scholarship given on the basis of merit and means combined is the merit-cum-means based scholarship.
- It implies that the scholarship is given to those who are in need of it (mostly financially) and deserve it as well.
- Scholarship sponsored by the Govt. and given on state-level are generally only for the candidates belonging to minority community.

Talent Based Scholarship
