NDA 2024: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has been conducting NDA exam for years and massive number of students appear every year. NDA 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Below, I’m sharing major highlights of NDA eligibility criteria which every aspirant should meet in order to become eligible for applying for this exam. Please check the information furnished below:

Marital Status

The authority is allowing only unmarried male candidates to apply for the exam.

Age Limit

• NDA 1 2024: Whose date of birth falls not before 2nd July 2005 and not after 1^st July 2008.
• NDA 2 2024: Whose date of birth falls not before 2nd January 2006 and not after 1st January 2009.

Educational Qualification

• Educational norms or Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: Class 12^th or its equivalent exam with Mathematics and Physics.
• For Army Wings of NDA: Class 12^th or its equivalent exam. Appearing candidates may also apply.

Fitness

Candidates have to be physically fit to according to the standard shared by the concerned authority.

NDA 2024 Application Form

Candidates can fill and submit the application form of NDA exam in online mode. Candidates must double verify their filled application as they won’t be able to make change post submission. Please follow the instructions given below to apply for NDA exam:

• NDA 1 application form will release on 20th December 2023, while, for NDA 2  application form will release on 18th May 2024. Candidates are only permitted to apply in online mode.
• The concerned authority also allows candidates to withdraw their application but within a specific period of time.
• Students need to be extra careful while filling the application form as no further modifications would be allowed upon submission.
• The deadline for the submission of NDA 1 application form is 9th January 2024.
• The application process for NDA exam has been divided into two categories: In part 1, you have to fill basic details and in part 2, you need to upload scanned copy of your signature and photograph, put choice of the exam centre and make payment of fee.
• Once you filled all details correctly and uploaded the necessary documents then you should take printout of the downloaded application for future reference.

Application Fee

• For Gen/OBC: Rs.100/-
• If you are failing under SC/ST category or a ward of NCOs/ JCOs/Ors then you don’t need to pay application fee.
• Candidates can pay fee with using net banking/debit card or using SBI challan.

Paper 1- Mathematics

ALGEBRA, MATRICES AND DETERMINANTS, TRIGONOMETRY, ANALYTICAL GEOMETRY OF TWO AND THREE DIMENSIONS, DIFFERENTIAL CALCULUS, INTEGRAL CALCULUS AND DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS, VECTOR ALGEBRA, STATISTICS AND PROBABILITY.

Paper 2- General Ability Test

Part A- English

Grammar and usage, vocabulary, comprehension and cohesion in extended text to test the candidate’s proficiency in English.

Part B- General Knowledge

The question paper on General Knowledge will majorly cover the subjects : Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Social Studies, Geography and Current Events.

NDA 2024 Admit Card

The authority has released NDA admit card of candidates who have successfully applied for the exam two or three week before commencement of the exam. There are no other modes rather than online mode available for obtaining the admit card.

Candidates should carefully review the information furnished on their admit card as it will help them to know their exam date, roll number, exam date, time, and venue along with other exam-related instructions.

NDA 2024 Answer Key

Once the exam is over, there are a number of coaching institutions who release the answer key. The official NDA answer key may or may not release by the concerned authority.

Students can match their answers with the answer key and predict their marks. In this way, they can know whether they are going to qualify the exam or not.

NDA 2024 Result

Candidates who appeared in NDA exam, they may check their respective result from the official web portal of the Union Public Service Commission. The authority will declare separate result for written test and final round.

It is highly expected that the NDA 1 result will release in June 2024 and NDA 2 result in November 2024. It will be published online in pdf format.

The NDA result cum merit list showcase the name of candidates who are shortlisted for the SSB interview round and medical test. Candidates must keep their result card preserve for future reference.

NDA 2024 Cut off

The category-wise cut off for NDA 2024 will release by the concerned authority. The cut off criteria will vary from one category to another. The written test cut off will be 342, whereas, the final cut off would be 708.

Candidates who cleared the cut off criteria are further eligible to attend the upcoming rounds.

NDA 2024 Selection Procedure

NDA will select candidates based on their overall performance in the written test and SSB interview. First of all, UPSC selects students based on their performance in written test and thereafter, they will be called for attending the SSB interview.

There will be two stages of SSB interview- Stage I and Stage II. Stage I includes Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests that are Picture Perception and Description Test (PP&DT).
