Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for RRB Paramedical 2024 are given below.

Nationality

Candidates with any of the following nationalities can apply.

  • A citizen of India.
  • A subject of Nepal
  • A subject of Bhutan
  • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
  • Indian Origin person migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

Age Limit and Educational Qualification

Dietician (18 years to 33 years)

  • B.Sc (Science) with Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics (one year course) from a recognized institution plus 3 months of internship training in a hospital.
  • B.Sc Home Science plus M.Sc Home Science (Food and Nutrition) from a recognized institution.

Staff Nurse (20 years to 40 years)

  • B.Sc Nursing
  • Certificate as a Registered Nurse and Midwife having passed 3 years course in General Nursing and Midwifery from a school of Nursing or other institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council

Dialysis Technician

  • B.Sc. with a diploma in Haemodialysis with two years of experience.

Dental Hygienist

  • Degree in Science (Biology) from a recognized university or equivalent Diploma / Certificate Course (2 years) in Dental Hygiene from an institute recognized by the Dental Council of India
  • Registered as Dental Hygienist with the Dental Council of India with two years of experience as a Dentist.

Extension Educator

  • Graduation in Social Work / Sociology / Community Education disciplines with 2 years diploma in Health Education from a recognized University.

Optometrist

  • B.Sc in Optometry or Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician (the course should be of 3 to 4 years duration)
  • Candidates must have registration with the concerned Council / Licensing body.

Perfusionist

  • B.Sc with Diploma in Perfusion Technology. Or
  • B.Sc and Three years experience as Cardiopulmonary Pump Technician in Reputed Recognised Hospital.

Physiotherapist

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized University.
  • 2 years of practical experience in Physiotherapy from the Government / Private Hospital with at least one hundred beds.

Radiographer

  • 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry.
  • Diploma in Radiography / X-Ray Technician / Radio Diagnosis Technology (2 years course) from a recognized Institute.
  • Science graduates with Diploma in Radiography / X-Ray Technician / Radio Diagnosis Technology (2 years course) shall be preferred.
