Rajasthan ITI Admission 2022: Date, Application Form, Eligibility

The Directorate of Training, Rajasthan will be inviting the candidates for admission in engineering and non-engineering trades offered by the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the state. Candidates can apply for Rajasthan ITI admission 2022 by filling the online application form. Before filling the form, they should check their eligibility status laid down by the authority. Selection in different trades will be based on the marks scored by the candidates in the concerned qualifying examination i.e. class 8th/ class 10th as applicable.

  1. The application form for ITI admission in Rajasthan can be obtained only through online mode. No printed applications will be entertained by the authority in this regard.
  2. It is mandatory for the applicants to possess a valid email id and phone number. Furthermore, the authority will communicate with them via these mediums in the future.
  3. To select the candidates for admission in engineering and non-engineering trades, the authority will publish a merit list on its website based on the marks scored by them in the concerned qualifying exam.
  4. Selected candidates will be invited to attend the counselling procedure where a seat will be allotted to them.

Application form

To fill the application form for Rajasthan ITI admission, candidates need to visit the official website of the Directorate of Training i.e. www.livelihoods.rajasthan.gov.in. Candidates need to register themselves for admission using their details such as mobile number, name, date of birth, email id. After successful registration, they need to login into SSO portal to fill the application form. The particulars in the online form should be filled very carefully as no correction window will be provided to the candidates once it is submitted successfully. Candidates also need to bear in mind that they fill correct information. In case the details given by them are found to be incorrect then their applications will be rejected by the authority. Candidates will also be asked to upload their scanned photograph and signature in a proper format. The form should be submitted along with the required application fee to avoid last-minute rush or rejection of the application.

Note: A processing fee of Rs. 100/- might also be applied with the application fee. Payment of the stated fee can be made through E-Mitra Kiosk or online mode (credit card, debit card and net banking).

Eligibility criteria- Rajasthan ITI admission 2022

Candidates can check the eligibility criteria given below to ensure their eligibility status-

Age criteria: The age of the candidates should be at least 14 years as on 1st August 2022. No upper age limit is defined for admission in technical/non-technical ITI trades.

Educational qualification

  • Computer hardware and network assistant/ Draughtsman/ Electrician/ Fitter/ Foundry man/ Information Communication Technology System Maintenance: Candidates should have passed class 10th from a recognized board with science and mathematics as the subjects of study.
  • Interior decoration and designing/ architectural assistant: Passed class X under 10+2 system with minimum of 40% independently in Science and Mathematics.
  • Basic cosmetology/ Baker and confectioner/ Computer operator and programming assistance/ Dress making etc: Passed class 10th from a recognized board or its equivalent examination.

Admission procedure and counselling

  • For Rajasthan ITI admission, the authority will shortlist the candidates based on the marks secured by them in the concerned qualifying exam i.e. class 8th or class 10th
  • The merit list will be published on the official website and candidates will also be informed of their selection through the registered mobile number.
  • Candidates selected will be invited to attend the counselling process where they need to indicate their choice of preference of course and institute.
  • Finally, the authority will allot a seat to the candidates according to their merit rank, seat availability and the choices opted during the counselling.
  • The authority will issue an allotment letter to the candidates which they need to produce at the time of admission.
  • Candidates need to report to the institute allotted to them with their original documents for verification and complete other admission related formalities.
