OUAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

  • 10+2 Science/Equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate, including additional optional. It is 40% for SC/ST/PWD candidates (B.Sc (Hons) Agri. for CA, BBSR)/Kashmiri (Migrant and Non Migrant).
  • Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2022 (born on or before that date).

OUAT 2022 Application Form

An application form for the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology Common Entrance Test 2022 will be available on the official site of OUAT via online mode. Applicants need to follow these steps while filling out the application form for OUAT 2022.

Step 1: The Registration Process

  • Firstly, Applicants visit to the official website, www.ouat.nic.in.
  • Then click on the available registration link.
  • After that, fill in your general details like name, email ID, date of birth, and valid mobile number.
  • Candidates will get an OTP to their registered mobile number and E-mail Id.

Step 2: Complete the Application Form

  • Now, Click on Login option by using Candidate’s User ID and password you received on your mobile no. or email.
  • Read all the given instructions carefully before applying.
  • Then, Fill all the required details like name, address, date of birth, and etc. in the application form.

Step 3: Upload the Necessary Documents

  • Applicants need to upload their passport-size photo and signature.

Step 4: Exam Centre Preferences

  • The exam will be held in 24 different centres, which are as follows: Angul, Balangir, , Bhadrak, Bhawanipatna, Bhubaneswar, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Khurda, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Paralakhemundi, Phulbani, Balasore, Baragarh, Baripada, Berhampur Puri, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Boudh, Cuttack, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Jeypore, Jharsuguda, and Sonipur.
  • Now, Applicants have to select their exam centre and then click on Self declaration option.

Step 5: Pay the OUAT Application Fee

  • Pay the OUAT 2022 application fee.
  • The application fee for (Gen/OBC/Sc/ST) is same, which is Rs 1500.
  • The application fee is non-refundable.
  • Applicants can be paid application fee by using debit card, credit card, or net banking.

Step 6: Printing the Application Form

  • Aspirants should take the photo-copy of application form for future use.

OUAT 2022 Exam Pattern

The entrance test will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for 200 marks, of two-hour duration, and the medium of examination will be English. Each question is worth one mark. There is no negative mark for a wrong answer. An Entrance Test will be held in the month of September 2022. The topics of the exam and the distribution of marks are given below.

The weighted marks of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of their academic career and entrance test as given below:

Admit Card for OUAT 2022

An admit card can be downloaded from the OUAT website (www.ouat.nic.in) or http://ouat-lokaseba-odisha. Students log in with their e-mail, mobile number, OTP, CAPTCHA, and application number. Candidates must bring their admit card along with the original identity proof to the exam hall. Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Student Identity Card with photograph issued by the school/college, Passport, Aadhar Card (Recent), Nationalized Bank Passbook with Photograph, and etc. The examination centre option filled by the candidates in the application form cannot be changed after the last date of submission of the application.

OUAT 2022 Results

After the examination, the students are only waiting for the result. Please note that the result has been declared after the completion of the examination. Students can check the results only by visiting the official website of OUAT. The result has been released through online mode only. Students have to enter their application number and password, etc., to view their results.

General Instructions for Candidates Regarding OUAT 2022

  • The Entrance Test will be held at 24 different venues, which are given above.
  • The admit card will be available on the OUAT website (www.ouat.nic.in) or at http://ouat-lokaseba-odisha.com.Under no circumstances will a request to change the centre be considered. The University reserves the right to change the centre preferred by the candidate, if required. No admit cards will be sent separately to the candidates by post.
  • Candidates must appear at the respective exam centre with their admit cards and ID proof, and they will be allowed to enter the examination hall only after their identity has been verified.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the entrance examination hall after 15 minutes of the commencement of the examination.
  • Candidates must bring a “Black Ball Point Pen” with them to mark the answer on the OMR sheet.
  • The OMR sheet consists of two (two) copies: the original and the candidate’s copy. Do not try to separate or displace them while answering.
  • After the examination is over, the OMR sheet has to be folded over the hole to separate the original copy from the candidate’s copy. Candidates should hand over the original answer sheet (OMR) to the invigilator before leaving the examination hall, and they can carry the candidate’s OMR and question paper copy with them.
  • Candidates should darken only one (one) oval bubble for each question.
  • No marks will be awarded for multiple answers or answers to any question.
  • Any mistake in darkening the roll number bubble will damage the identity of the candidate and will be liable for rejection.
  • No work should be done on the answer sheet (OMR). Use the rough sheet given in the question booklet.
  • No candidate may leave the exam hall before the completion of the exam.
  • Candidates are not allowed to bring any papers, mobile phones, calculators, or other electronic gadgets into the examination hall.
  • The invigilators will take attendance on the attendance sheet, on which candidates have to put their full signature against their respective roll number and enter their question booklet series (e.g., A, B, C, D), and answer sheet (OMR) number.
  • Before attempting answers, candidates should double-check the question booklet/answer sheet (OMR) provided at the examination centre for completeness. If any mistake is found, candidates should immediately report to the informant and issue a new question booklet or answer sheet (OMR) after surrendering the defective one.
  • The candidate should clearly write and darken his/her Roll Number, Subject Code, Booklet Number, Booklet Series, and Category in the space provided on the Answer Sheet (OMR) for evaluation of the Answer Sheet, otherwise his/her Answer Sheet will not be scrutinized.
  • Rejection of the answer sheet in any manner or affixing any mark/identification mark etc. will render the answer book (OMR) liable for rejection. By adopting unfair means or indulging in any objectionable activities in the entrance examination hall, the candidate will be liable to be debarred from the entrance examination.
  • Candidates have to follow the instructions of the centre superintendent and invigilators at the examination centre.
