Maharashtra ITI Admission 2022

Every year DVET, Maharashtra invites applicants for Maharashtra ITI admission offered in various disciplines such as welder, plumber, beautician, mechanic, cosmetologist, bakery etc. Candidates can apply for Maharashtra ITI admission 2022 by filling the online application form. Admission to different vocational and industrial training programmes will be granted solely on the basis of merit of the candidates.

The application form for Maharashtra ITI admission 2022 will be made available on the official website of the DVET most probably in the 1st week of June. Candidates should fill the form early to avoid disappointment. But before moving towards the application form, they must go through the eligibility criteria laid down by the DVET for admission in ITI.

Application form for Maharashtra ITI admission

To apply for the Maharashtra ITI admission 2022, candidates first need to register themselves for the same. The registration will only be done via online mode. Candidates need to visit the official website of the DVET, Maharashtra and register for admission using their mobile number and email id. Once the registration is completed, they need to login into the website using the registration number and password to fill the online application form.

The application form will include details such as name, father’s name, gender, date of birth, category, educational qualification etc. Candidates need to fill these details very carefully as no correction will be provided once their applications are submitted. The application form must be submitted on or before the deadline specified by the authority. It is mandatory for the candidates to pay the application fee otherwise their applications will end up getting rejected.

Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for ITI Maharashtra admission are provided below. Candidates must fulfill the requirements as per the course they wish to pursue from ITI.

For Electrician/Electronics mechanic/Electroplater: Applicants must have passed SSC with Mathematics and Science as the compulsory subjects from a recognized board.

For Mechanic/Multimedia animation and special effects: Candidates should have passed class 10th with Science and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects.

For Plumber/Pre-Preparatory school management: Applicants should have passed SSC from a recognized board.

For Architectural assistant: Candidates must have passed SSC with Science and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects from a recognized board. They must have scored at least 40% aggregate marks in class 10th/SSC.

For Bakery and Confectionary/Cosmetology: Candidates must have passed SSC or its equivalent from a recognized board.

For Computer operator and Programming assistant/Desktop publishing operator: Candidates should have passed class 10th or its equivalent from a recognized board.

For welder/wireman and marine fitter: Candidates should have passed SSC from a recognized board. Those appearing in class 10th may also apply. For marine fitter profile, candidates must have studied Science and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects.

For Dress making/ Front office assistant:  Candidates should have passed SSC from a recognized board.

For Housekeeping/Health sanitary inspector: Applicants must have completed SSC/ class 10th from a recognized board.

Admission Procedure and Selection

  • The selection in ITI trades will solely be granted as per the merit obtained by the applicants in the qualifying exam i.e. class 8th, class 10th or class 12th.
  • The authority will communicate to the candidates shortlisted for admission via registered email or phone number.
  • Only eligible candidates will be considered for admission in Maharashtra ITI.
  • Selected candidates will undergo a document verification phase where they need to bring all the original documents as well as their photocopies.
  • Once the verification of documents is done, applicants need to pay the admission fee and take admission in the concerned ITI trade.
  • The authority will provide them with an “admission confirmation slip” which they need to keep safe for future reference.
