JEMAT stands for Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal. This entrance exam is conducted to select candidates for admission to MBA/ MHA/ AICTE approved PG diploma courses. Those who are looking to get admission into these courses need to fill and submit the application form in online mode. It is expected that the application process for JEMAT I 2022 will begin in the month of April 2022. In this mode, we are going to provide complete details regarding JEMAT 2022.

JEMAT 2022 Important Dates

The university going to conduct the JEMAT 2022 examination three times in a calendar year. The tentative schedule of all three exams is as follows.

JEMAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must make sure that they meet eligibility criteria as decided by the university before filling the online application form.

Nationality

• Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for this exam.

Educational Qualification

• Aspirants should have a bachelor’s degree in any of the following streams – Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy/ Architecture or any other professional course from a recognized institute.
• Students going to appear for the final year examination in the year 2022 are also eligible.

JEMAT Application Form 2022

The application form for JEMAT 2022 will release in online mode. Those interested candidates who are looking to apply need to access the application form through the official website i.e. makautwb.ac.in. The complete process of application is explained below.

• To start the process of application, aspirants have to provide their basic details such as name, gender, category, mobile number, email ID, etc.
• After registration, login credentials of candidates will be sent to their email ID and mobile number.
• Next, aspirants have to sign-in using the credentials generated during registration.
• The main application form will appear on the screen after signing in.
• In the application form, aspirants have to provide their complete academic, personal, and contact details.
• Along with the details, candidates are required to upload scanned images of their photograph and signature.
• The photograph and signature must be uploaded in JPG/ JPEG format.
• In the next step, aspirants have to pay the necessary application fee online.
• Finally, candidates should take a printout of the application form submitted and fee payment receipt for future requirements.

Application Fee

The application fees depend upon the category of candidates.

• General and OBC candidates: Rs. 600/-
• SC/ ST and PwD candidates: Rs. 300/-

Mode of payment: The application fee can be paid using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking.

JEMAT 2022 Admit Card

• Those applicants who will submit the application form and pay the application fee before the last date will be able to download their admit cards.
• To download an admit card, candidates have to provide their registration details.
• An admit card consist of important information like date, time, and venue of the examination.
• No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card.
• Candidates also need to carry a photo ID proof along with the admit card during examination.

JEMAT 2022 Exam Pattern

Interested candidates who are preparing for the exam should know and under the exam pattern. The pattern of JEMAT 2022 exam is explained below.

• Mode of examination: Online mode (Internet-based test)
• Type of questions: Objective type multiple choice questions
• Number of questions: 100 questions
• Duration of examination: 2 hours
• Maximum Marks: 100 marks
• Marking pattern: Each question will carry 1 mark
• Negative marking: – 0.25 marks will be deducted in case of an incorrect answer

JEMAT Syllabus 2022

The subject-wise syllabus of JEMAT 2022 examination is explained below.

• Mathematics: Number System, Percentage, Simple Interest, Time and Work, Ratio and Proportion, Compound Interest, Probability, Linear Equations, Profit and Loss, LCM and HCF, Surds and Indices, Geometry, Trigonometry, Permutation and Combination, Mensuration, Set Theory, Quadratic Equations.
• Logical Reasoning: Bar Graphs, Venn Diagram, Tables, Pie Charts, Line Charts, Columns and Graphs, Coding and Decoding, Blood Relations, Statements
• English: Antonyms, Fill in the Blanks, Summary Question, Synonyms, Analogies and Reverse Analogies, Facts/ Inferences/ Judgements, Grammar, Word Meaning, Reading Comprehension, Sentence Correction, Verbal Reasoning, Jumbled Paragraphs, etc.

JEMAT 2022 Result

• After taking the exam, candidates will be able to check their result online.
• The university will make the result available online through its official website.
• In order to check the result, aspirants have to provide their roll number and other registration details.
• The result card will contain information on subject-wise and total marks secured by a candidate in the JEMAT 2022 examination.
• Please note that the result card will be available for a limited period of time. So, candidates should download and take a printout of the same early.

Cut off and Merit List

• Along with the result, the university will also release merit lists of candidates who will get shortlisted for further rounds of section.
• In order to get his/ her name on the merit list, it is necessary for a candidate to score more than cut off marks.
• Please note that there will be different cut-off marks for candidates from different categories.

JEMAT 2022 Group Discussion and Personal Interview

• The date, time, and venue of the Group discussion and personal interview will be made available only after result declaration of the written exam.
• Only those candidates who will clear the written test will be allowed to participate in GD and PI rounds.
• During these rounds, the exam authority will determine the overall personality and subject knowledge of a candidate.

JEMAT Counselling 2022

• Those successful candidates who will be shortlisted after GD/ PI rounds will be invited to participate in the counselling process.
• During the process of counselling, candidates will be asked to provide the choice of colleges in which they want to study.
• The university will provide admission based on merits lists and choice filled by candidates during the process of counselling.
• It is also important for all candidates to get their documents verified during counselling. The following documents will be required at the time of counselling.
