GOA ITI AdmissionDirectorate of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship is the authority that manages Goa ITI Admission 2022 on behalf of the Government of Goa. The admission will be offered on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying examination. There will not be any entrance exam. Interested candidates who want to get admission need to fill and submit the application form before the last date. It is being notified that the application process has been started from 23rd May 2022. In this post, all the necessary details related to the Goa ITI Admission 2022 process are provided.

Goa ITI Admission 2022 Eligibility Criteria

It is important for all candidates to make sure that they are eligible before filling the application form. The eligibility criteria for Goa ITI Admission 2022 are given below. Please note that the eligibility criteria are different for various trades.

Engineering Trades

  • Fitter (2 year duration) – 10th class pass with science and Mathematics or its equivalent.
  • Electrician (2 year duration) – 10th class pass with science and Mathematics or its equivalent.
  • Mechanic Motor Vehicle (2 year duration) – 10th class pass with science and Mathematics or its equivalent.
  • Mechanic Diesel (1 year duration) – 10th class pass with science and Mathematics or its equivalent.
  • Welder (1 year duration) – candidates must have passed class 8th
  • Plumber (1 year duration) – candidates must have passed class 8th
  • Refrigeration & Air Conditioner Technician (2 year duration) – 10th class pass with science and Mathematics or its equivalent.

Non-Engineering Trades

  • Food Production (General) (1 year duration) – 10th class pass or equivalent
  • Food & Beverages Service Assistant (1 year duration) – 10th class pass or equivalent
  • House Keeper (1 year duration) – 10th class pass or equivalent
  • Front Office Assistant (1 year duration) – 10th class pass or equivalent
  • Travel & Tour Assistant (1 year duration) – 10th class pass or equivalent
  • Computer Operator & Programming Assistant(1 year duration) – 10th class pass or equivalent
  • Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) (2 year duration) – Must have passed class 12th

Age Limit

  • Minimum age required is 14 years as on 01.08.2022 for all the courses, except Driver cum Mechanic Course for which minimum age required is 18 years.

Goa ITI Application Form 2022 

The application process of Goa ITI Admission 2022 has been released in online mode only. Those who want to apply need to visit the official website in order to access the application form. The complete process related to the application form submission is explained below.

  • To start the process of application form submission, aspirants have to register on the official website by providing some basic details like email address and mobile number.
  • Then, aspirants will receive OTP on their email address and mobile number.
  • Next, candidates have to log in and access the main application form.
  • In the main application form, candidates are required to provide their complete educational, personal, and contact details.
  • Along with the details, aspirants have to upload scanned images of the following documents. Please note that all documents must be self-attested.
    • Certificate of passing and the statement of marks obtained in the minimum qualifying examination i.e. 8th, S.S.C.E., or Diploma in Engineering as the case may be.
    • Leaving Certificate from the School/Institute/College last attended by the candidate.
    • Birth Certificate from the Registrar of Births and Deaths
    • A certificate of continuous period of residence of 10 years in Goa on the date of application from the Mamlatdar having jurisdiction over the area of residence
    • In case of children of employees of the Central/State Government or Government of India Undertakings, a certificate issued by the Head of the Office or Department
    • Children of Ex-Servicemen/Defence Personnel a certificate from the Competent Authority to the effect that either of their parents had been ex-serviceman/ Defence personnel
    • In case of children of Freedom Fighters, a certificate from the Home Department of Government of Goa stating that his/her father/mother has been registered as Freedom Fighter
    • Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/ Other Backward Class, a certificate to that effect from the Mamlatdar/ Deputy Collector/ Sub-Divisional Officer of the concerned area.
    • In case of a candidate belonging to SC/ ST/ BPL category or having annual family income less than Rs 3,00,000/- p.a., a certificate to that effect from the concerned competent authority.
    • Person with Disability, a certificate from the Dean, Goa Medical College, regarding the nature of the disability or handicap and the extent to which the candidate is fit for joining the desired trade in the ITI
    • In case of the Children of the African Repatriates of Goan origin, a certificate to that effect from the Home Department of Government of Goa.
  • It is also necessary for all candidates to pay the required application fee in order to apply.
  • It is recommended that aspirants should take a printout of the application form submitted and fee payment receipt.

Application Fee

The application fee is different for students from various categories.

  • SC/ ST candidates: Rs. 413/- per student
  • Other than SC/ ST category: Rs. 826/- per student

Mode of payment: Candidates can pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking.

Result and Merit List

  • After the application form submission process gets over, authorities will release merit lists on the official website.
  • The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by candidates in the qualifying examination.
  • Please note that there will be different merit lists for candidates from various categories.
  • In case of any objections/ corrections in the provisional merit list published, candidates may contact their nearest ITI.
  • After considering all the objections submitted by students, authorities will release the final merit list.

Goa ITI Admission 2022 Counselling

  • Successful candidates who will get their names in the final merit list will be allowed to participate in the counselling process.
  • During the counselling process, candidates have to provide their choice of institutes in which they want to study.
  • Admission will be provided based on the final merit list.
  • In order to confirm admission, aspirants have to get their documents verified.

Answer: No, the application form will release in online mode only.

Question – 2: Will there be an entrance exam for admission?

Answer: No, there will not be any entrance exam.

Question – 3: Can I get my application fee back if I don’t get selected for admission?

Answer: No, the application fee will not be refunded.

Question – 4: What documents do I need to get verified in order to get admission?

Answer: Candidates have to get the following documents verified in order to get admission.

  • Leaving Certificate of the last School/ College / Institute attended by the candidate. Or Bonafide certificate of the last School/ College / Institute attended by the candidate mentioning that the candidate was a student of the particular school/ college during the Last academic year
  • Residence Certificate from the Mamlatdar proving continuous period of residence of the last 10 years in Goa on the date of application. Or Residence proof (Other than residence certificate) such as School /Institute /College Leaving Certificate/ Bonafide certificate/Transfer certificate etc. proving last 10 years continuous domicile /residence in Goa, preceding the date of the application.
  • Statement of marks obtained in VIII std/ SSC as applicable
  • Certificate that the candidate belongs to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ Other Backward Classes issued by competent authority of Govt. of Goa (If applicable)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Certificate that the candidate belongs to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ Other Backward Classes issued by competent authority of Govt. of Goa (If applicable)
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Certificate that the candidate belongs to Economically Weaker Section (EWS) (If applicable)
