GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). This exam is conducted for 25 subjects. • The GATE application form will be available in online mode through the Gate Online Application Processing System (GOAPS).
• The application form will release in September 2023.
• During the registration process, candidates have to choose the exam city as per the choice provided in the exam centre list.
• Aspirants must fill their application form completely. Otherwise, the form will be thoroughly rejected.
• To help candidates fix their mistakes in the form, authorities will also provide a correction facility to edit the application form.

• The application fee for GATE 2024 can be submitted in online mode only.

How to Apply for GATE?

Given below are the steps by which you can fill and submit the GATE application form.

• • First of all, you need to visit the official website.
  • Then, register by providing some of your basic details including your name, parent’s name, mail ID, phone number, etc.
• After that, you should go through the “Declaration” option. 
• Proceed & click on the “GATE Application Form” option.
• Next, in the main application form, you need to provide your complete educational, personal, and contact details.
• Apart from the details, candidates are also required to upload scanned images of their passport size photograph, and signature.
• The size of the photograph should be 3.5 cm width * 4.5 cm height. The minimum size of should be 240 * 320 cm mega pixels & maximum size must be 480 * 640 mega pixels.
• In addition to this, candidates also need to upload scanned images of 2 cm height * 7cm width. The minimum size must be 80*280 pixels & maximum size must be 160*560 pixels.
• Aspirants should re-check & verify all the given information.
• After verification, candidates must proceed to submit the application fee as per their category.
• Once the fee is submitted, the confirmation page will appear on your screen.
• Finally, candidates should take a printout of the confirmation page & keep it safe for future reference.
