Department of Labour & Employment, Silvassa will invite applications from the eligible and interested candidates for admissions into different ITI trades. Candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of their marks in the qualifying exam. Application for the admissions will be released tentatively in the month of June 2022. Eligibility Criteria

The trade-wise eligibility criteria for Dadar and Nagar Haveli ITI Admission 2022 are given below:

• For 1 year Welder (Gas & Electric): SSC passed candidates are eligible to apply for this trade.
• For 1 year Secretarial Practice: The applicants who have cleared their SSC exam with English as a subject can apply. Only girl candidates are eligible for this trade.
• For 2 years Electrician, Wireman, Turner, Mechanic Motor Vehicle and IT & ESM: A pass in the SSC exam is required in order to be eligible for these trades.

Age criteria:

• The lower and upper age limit for admissions into Dadar and Nagar Haveli ITI is 14 and 40 years respectively.

Application Form

The candidates interested for Dadar and Nagar Haveli ITI 2022 admission can submit their application form as per the given schedule. Application form will be made available on the official website http://dnh.nic.in hopefully in the month of June 2022.

• The applicants will be asked to provide their personal and educational details into the application form such as name, date of birth, gender, category, qualifying exam marks obtained, school name, board name, etc.
• Candidates must also put their photograph and signature into the application form at the specified places.
• Only correct and genuine information must be provided into the application or else it may get rejected.
• Once all the details are entered into the form, the candidates can submit it along with the prescribed application fee.
• The non-refundable, non-transferrable application fee will be Rs. 30/-.
• Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the filled-in application form along with them in case of future reference.

Preparation of Merit List

• A merit list of the candidates who submit their applications in time will be prepared.
• The list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in their SSC exam.
• Merit list will be drawn and displayed on the notice board of the ITIs and will also be published on the official website.
• In case two or more candidates obtain same ranking in the merit list, tie-breaking rules will be applied to determine the rank of such candidates.
• Separate merit lists will be prepared for admission into different trades.

Selection Process

• Selection of the candidates will be done strictly according to their names in the merit list.
• Candidates whose names appear in the list will be invited to take part in the counseling round.
• At the time of counseling, the original certificates of the candidates and their eligibility will be verified.
• Candidates reporting to the institute for admission are therefore required to carry along with them the important documents in original and photocopy as well.
• After successful verification, the candidates will be allowed to provide choice for trade in which they seek admission.
• Depending on the choice made by the candidates and their ranking, seats will be allotted to them.

Admission Procedure

• Details of the admission process will be communicated to the candidates in the meantime.
• The candidates must report for the admissions as per the schedule specified to them.
• Those who fail to complete the formalities of admission will forfeit their seats and lose their candidature.
• Classes are expected to begin from the month of August 2022.
