Andhra Pradesh (AP) ITI Admission 2022

Candidates wishing to get enrolled in ITI trade courses from Andhra Pradesh must apply for the Andhra Pradesh ITI admission 2022 by filling the online form. The application form will be made available in the 3rd week of May 2022. Candidate must make sure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria specified by the Department of Employment and Training. Ineligible candidates won’t be considered for admission.

Candidates should note that the admission will be given based on the score obtained by them in the concerned qualifying exam i.e. 10th and 12th respectively. Through Andhra Pradesh (AP) ITI admission 2022, candidates can apply for various engineering and non-engineering trades such as cosmetologist, welder, motor mechanic, stenographer, draughtsman, electrician, painter, machinist etc.

Application form- Andhra Pradesh (AP) ITI Admission 2022

To apply for admission in Andhra Pradesh ITI, candidates need to fill the online application form for the same. The application form will be released only via online mode i.e. candidates need to visit the official website of the Department of Employment and Training, AP. Candidates first need to register for the admission by providing basic details such as name, email id and phone number. Then they are required to login into the website to fill the application form.

The details in the form must be filled as per the correct knowledge of the applicants along with that of the official records. No correction window will be provided to the candidates in case they commit an error in the form once it is submitted already. Only one form per applicant will be considered valid. Candidates are required to submit the form along with the relevant application fee on or before the deadline given by the Department. Once the due date is passed, no further applications will be considered by the authority.

Application fee: Candidates need to pay Rs. 250/- as the application fee for Andhra Pradesh ITI admission 2022. Those from the reserved category must pay Rs. 150/- towards the necessary fee for admission. Candidates can pay the fee through credit card/debit card and net banking.

Eligibility criteria

It is compulsory for the applicant to fulfill the necessary conditions laid down by the authority for admission in ITI. The eligibility criteria for ITI admission in Andhra Pradesh (AP) is as follows-

Qualifying Examination: Candidates should have passed the SSC/HSC (class 10th and class 12th) exam or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Age Criteria: The age of the candidates should fall between 14 years and 25 years as on 1st August 2022. Candidates from reserved category can claim relaxation in age as per the rules of the Government.

Admission Procedure and Counselling

Under Andhra Pradesh ITI admission, candidates will be considered for enrollment into various engineering and non-engineering trades as per the marks secured by them in the qualifying Examination. For this purpose, the authority will publish a merit list stating the names of the candidates who are selected in the concerned program. Such candidates will be then called to attend the counselling process where a seat will be allotted to them by the authority. Once the seat allotment is done, candidates need to report to the concerned ITI and get their documents verified by the officials. After the document verification phase, candidates will get an acknowledgment receipt/admission letter which they need to keep safe for future references.

  • Caste certificate (wherever applicable)

  • DOB proof of the candidate

  • Address proof of the candidate such as Voter ID card, Aadhar card etc.
