AFCAT 2021: Short Service Commission (SSC) conducts the Air force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) to select the candidates for the flying wing. Air force conducts the exam twice a year in the month of February and August. Air force has released the official notification for AFCAT 1 2021. As the notification is issued, candidates can start filling and submitting the application forms from 1st December 2020. Here, candidates can get all the information about application forms, exam pattern, eligibility criteria, and important dates.

For the exam, both of the man and women can apply. Candidates will get the admission on the basis of written exam, screening of intelligence and document verification. Eventually, there will be a personal interview and then there will be the final selection of the candidates.

AFCAT 2021 application form will be available from 1st December 2020.

AFCAT Application Form 2021

• The application form for AFCAT 2021 will be available online on the official website of SSC/Air Force.
• Candidates will have the option to apply for admission only thru the online mode.
• In the application form, candidates shall have to fill all the personal information such as name and address. Along with that, candidates will have to fill the details of educational qualification.
• Candidates will not be able to registration for more than one application form and if such happens application forms will be rejected.

AFCAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must make sure that they are eligible for applying for admission. Eligibility criteria give all the details and parameters for candidate applying for any particular post. Here are the details about the eligibility criteria for AFCAT.

• As usual, candidates must be an Indian citizen.
• The age of the candidates must be between 20 and 24 years. However, the candidates applying for technical branch and ground duty, the age must be between 20 and 26 years.
• Candidates must have qualified three years bachelor degree and they must have minimum 60% marks in their graduation.
• Mathematics must be as one of the subjects at higher secondary level.
• Candidates having 50% marks at the post graduate level, can also apply for admission in the technical branch.

AFCAT 2021 Exam Pattern

• There will be a question paper for all branches.
• The question paper will have 100 questions.
• The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes.
• It is the key thing to note that there will be the deduction of 1 mark as the penalty for each wrong answer.
• The objective type test will have 75 questions and the duration of the question paper will be 60 minutes.
• The General Engineering section of the question will have 40 questions and the section of specialist engineering shall comprise 35 questions.

AFCAT Admit Card 2021

After the submission of the application form, candidates will get the admit card. Thru the admit card, candidates will get the entry in the examination hall to take part in the examination.

• The admit card shall have applicants’ name, address, and signature written on it. Besides this, admit card shall have the name, timing, and venue of the examination.
• Candidates shall have to take the admit card with them when going to the exam center.
• Candidates shall not get the entry in the exam hall unless they take the admit card to the exam center.

AFCAT Result 2021

The last part of the selection/admission process is the announcement of the result. The result of the written examination shall be out in the month of March 2021.

• After the declaration of the result of the written exam, candidates will have to appear for the personal interview and after that, the admission process will complete.
• The merit will be prepared on the basis of the score attained by all the examinees in the written exam and personal interview.
