UPSC ESE 2021: Application Form, Important dates, Eligibility Criteria

UPSC ESE 2021: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is the respective authority which conducts Engineering Services Examination (ESE) every year. UPSC ESE conducts for the recruitment of candidates to the posts of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

Through UPSC ESE candidates get recruited under the different govt engineering organizations of India such as Central Engineering Service (CES), Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE), and Military Engineering Services (MES), etc.

UPSC ESE 2021 official notification will be released on 7th April 2021. Thereafter, aspirants can fill the UPSC ESE 2021 application form as per the scheduled date.

UPSC ESE 2021 application form is to be available from 7th April 2020.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC ESE 2021

Candidates need to fulfill the important eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The prescribed eligibility criteria of UPSC ESE 2021 are as follows:

Educational qualification

Aspirants should have done graduation in engineering from a recognized university with minimum qualifying marks.

Age limit

The candidate’s age should lies between 21 years – 30 years as on 1st January of the year of exam. There will be also age relaxation for reserved categories as per the government rules.

  • Candidates can apply online via visiting the official website of conducting body i.e. www.upsconline.nic.in.
  • After that, fill all the required fields with accurate details.
  • Upload the scanned passport size photograph and signature as per the specifications.
  • Before submitting the application forms recheck the details very carefully.
  • Submit the duly filled in application.
  • Make the payment of applicable fee for the successful completion of application procedure.

Selection Process

Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the written examination and Personal Interview.
