TS PGLCET 2022: Application Form (Live from 6 April), Exam Date, Eligibility

TS PGLCETThe candidates who wish to pursue their LLM degree course from the institutes of Telangana state can apply for TS PGLCET 2022. This is a state-level entrance exam to be conducted on 22nd July 2022. Interested candidates can start submitting their application form from 6th April 2022. The application form filling and submission process will be completely online. The applicants are suggested to make sure they fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Major Highlights

  • There is no need to send a printout of the application form to the exam conducting body.
  • Application form with incomplete information will be rejected and no communication regarding this will be sent to the candidates.
  • Candidates will be allowed to edit their application form, within a given time period.
  • The candidates should note that the hall tickets and rank cards will not be sent by post.
  • Any communication to the Convener should not be made without the registration number.
  • Any tampering of hall ticket will automatically lead to disqualification from appearing at the test.

TS PGLCET Syllabus 2022

The syllabus for the TS PGLCET exam 2022 is provided below:

Part A:

  • Jurisprudence: Sources of Law, Schools of Jurisprudence, Custom Precedent & Legislation, Ownership and Possession, Persons, Property, Obligation, Liability Rights & Duties, and Legal Sanctions
  • Constitutional Law: Emergency Provisions, Fundamental Rights, Directive Principles of State Policy, Center-State Relations, Amendments to the Constitution and Executive Judiciary & Legislature

Part B:

  • Public International Law: International Law & Municipal Law, Nationality and Statelessness, Subjects of International Law, Air, Sea and Outer Space, State Jurisdiction State Territory, Extradition, Asylum and United Nations
  • Mercantile Law: General Principles of Contract (Sections 1-75, Indian Contract Act-1872)

TS PGLCET 2022 Application Form

The application form for TS PGLCET 2022 will be released on the official website lawcet.tsche.ac.in. The first step of the application process will be the submission of application fee. After successful payment of application fee, the candidates can proceed towards application form filling.

  • To submit the application fee, the candidates will have to fill up a fee payment form by providing basic details such as name, date of birth, qualifying exam hall ticket number, etc.
  • After successful payment, the candidates will be automatically redirected to application filling page.
  • In the application form, personal and educational details of the candidates will be asked.
  • Details filled in the fee payment form will be already populated. The candidates will have to provide rest details into the form.
  • Candidates’ photograph and signature will also be uploaded in the form in scanned format.
  • Once all the details are entered in the form, the candidates can submit it online.
  • Candidates should take a printout of the application form in case of future reference.

Application fee:

  • The application fee will be Rs. 1000/- for general/ OBC candidates and Rs. 600/- for SC/ ST candidates.
  • Fee payment can be done through TS Online/ AP Online/ Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.

Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility that must be fulfilled by the TS PGLCET 2022 aspirants is given below:

  • The candidate should be an Indian national and should satisfy local/ unreserved status requirement.
  • Candidates with a 3 or 5-year LL.B/ B.L. degree from a recognized university are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants in the final year of their LL.B/ B.L. degree can also appear in the exam given they clear the exam before the counseling.
  • Those seeking admission into LL.M (Private Appearance) of Osmania University require a minimum experience of 3 years as a judicial officer or 3 years standing as an advocate.

Admit Card

  • The admit card/ hall ticket to appear in TS PGLCET will be published on the website lawcet.tsche.ac.in.
  • Candidates will be able to download the admit card using their registration number, date of birth and qualifying exam hall ticket number.
  • In case of any difficulty in downloading hall ticket, the candidates should contact the Chief Superintendent of the allotted test center.
  • After downloading, the candidates should take a printout of the admit card and carry it to exam center on exam date.
  • Admit card should be preserved by the candidates till the process of admission is over.

Result

  • The entrance test result will be released tentatively in the month of July 2022 in online mode.
  • One week after the declaration of the result, the rank card of the candidates will be released on the official website.
  • Candidates can download their TS PGLCET rank card using their PGLCET hall ticket number and date of birth.
  • In case of any difficulty in downloading rank card the candidates are advised to contact the Convener’s office.

Counseling

  • A merit list of the candidates who qualify the exam will be prepared by the authorities.
  • The shortlisted candidates will have to get their documents verified at the help line centers.
  • After documents verification, the candidates will be allowed to provide choice for institutes.
  • On the basis of choices exercised and the ranking of the candidates, seats will be allotted to them.
  • Candidates can download their provisional allotment letter from the official website.
  • The applicants should then report to the allotted institute to complete the admission process.
