TS PGECET Application Form 2024

• The application form for TS PGECET 2024 will be released through online mode. The candidates can obtain the form by visiting the official website www.pgecet.tsche.ac.in.
• At first, the candidates will have to fill a registration form and make payment of application fee after which the application form can be obtained.
• In the application form basic personal details of the candidates such as name, gender, date of birth, category, etc will be asked.
• Details related to the qualifying exam such as year of passing, name of the college, marks secured, etc will also be asked in the application form.
• The applicants are also required to upload the scanned copies of their photograph and signature in the application form.
• Care should be taken to provide all the details very correctly or else the application form might get rejected.
• Once all the details are entered into the application form, the candidates can submit it online.
• The candidates are suggested to take a printout of the application form after submission and keep it safe with them for further reference.

• The application fee for the PGECET will be INR 1000 for general/ OBC-NCL category and INR 500 for SC/ ST/ PWD category.

Admit Card 

• Admit card for TS PGECET will be released on the official website tentatively in the month of May 2024.
• The candidates should download the admit card and take its printout to be carried to the exam center.
• Those reporting to the exam center without a valid admit card will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
• Details of the exam center and schedule will be mentioned in the admit card and the students must appear for the exam according to it.
• Kindly note that the admit card will only be made available online and will not be sent via post or courier.

TS PGECET Result

• The result of the entrance exam will be declared through online mode on official website www.pgecet.tsche.ac.in.
• To check the result, the candidates will have to provide their hall ticket number, registration number and date of birth.
• Apart from checking the result, the candidates will be able to download their rank card from the website as well.
• A merit list of the qualified candidates will be prepared as per their marks in the entrance exam.

TS PGECET Counseling 2024

• Further process of counseling of the shortlisted candidates will be done according to the names in the merit list.
• At the time of counseling, the candidates will be asked to provide their choice for college and course specialization.
• The candidates who report for counseling will have to get their documents verified and therefore should carry with them all their documents in original and photocopy.
• Final admissions will be granted to the candidates after successful verification of the documents.

FAQs

If I am having issues in filling the online application form, can I fill it offline?

There is no way for the candidates to fill or submit their application form through offline mode. The application form will only be released through online mode on the official website www.pgecet.tsche.ac.in.

What is the admission procedure for GATE/ GPAT qualified candidates?

Candidates who have qualified GATE/ GPAT exam will be considered for admission without appearing in the entrance exam. In fact, such candidates will be given preference over PGECET qualified candidates. A separate notification for admission of such candidates will be released.

In case I lost my admit card, what should I do?

To protect from loss or damage, the candidates are advised to keep multiple printouts of the same. No duplicate admit card in case of loss or damage will be provided.

What if I fail to appear for the admission process in the prescribed time limit?

The candidates who fail to report for the admissions in the given time period will be considered as disqualified and will not be granted admission at any condition.
