Symbiosis SET 2022 will be conducted for admission in different undergraduate courses offered by the symbiosis international university. Candidates can apply for the entrance exam by filling the application form for the same. The university has released the online application form on 25th January 2022. Through Symbiosis SET exam, candidates can get admission in BBA, BCA, B.Tech, BA, B.Sc, LLB, B.Des etc programmes offered at the university. The university will organize four different tests for law, design, engineering and general admissions. The entrance test will be held in online mode and candidates will get a total of 2 hours 20 minutes to complete the paper.

Symbiosis SET 2022- Highlights

• Symbiosis SET comprises of four different papers i.e. SLAT for law, SEED for design, SITEEE for engineering and SET general.
• The application fee once paid will not be refunded back under any circumstances.
• SLAT and SEED will be conducted in morning session whereas SET and SITEEE will be held in the evening session.
• Candidates can apply for one paper in the morning session and other in the evening session. They cannot appear for papers to be held in the same session.
• Separate admit card shall be generated for those candidates who have applied for both the sessions.
• The authority won’t entertain any request pertaining to the re-evaluation of the scores.

Symbiosis SET Application form 2022

Candidates can apply for symbiosis SET exam by filling the online application form. They need to keep their documents handy before filling the form. In order to apply for the entrance, they first need to visit the official website and register themselves. The application form will bear the details such as- name, father’s name, address, phone number, email id, educational details etc.

The details provided by the candidates should be correct and match their official records otherwise in case the information is found to be misleading then the candidates won’t be allowed to appear in the exam. Candidates should also remember to review their application before making the final submission. No changes will be permitted once the form is successfully submitted. Incomplete applications or those received without the application fee shall end up getting rejected by the authority.

Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for appearing in symbiosis SET 2022 exam are mentioned below-

Nationality: Indian citizens are eligible to appear in the entrance exam.

Educational qualification

• BCA: Candidates should have passed class 12^th exam or its equivalent from a recognized board or have done 3 years of diploma course after class 10^th with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• BBA/ BA/ BA LLB/BBA LLB: A pass in class 12^th exam or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks is required.
• Tech: Candidates should have passed class 12^th exam with 50% aggregate marks in single attempt only. They must have studied physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the given subjects chemistry, biology, biotechnology, and technical vocation.
• Des: Applicants should have completed class 12^th exam or its equivalent from a recognized board or hold a 3-year diploma from a recognized institute.

Note:

• Candidates appearing in class 12^th or equivalent can also apply for the entrance test.
• Candidates can apply as a NRI only if they have passed either class 10^th or class 12^th exam outside India. NRI students must have studied class 10^th from outside India and class 12^th in India.
• OCI/PIO/Foreign nationals need not appear for Symbiosis SET 2020 examination. They can apply for admission through symbiosis center for international education.

Syllabus

The syllabus of symbiosis SET varies from paper to paper. Candidates need to study for the exam as per the course they wish to enroll in. for example, candidates wishing to pursue law from the university need to prepare logical, legal, analytical reasoning, English comprehensions and should possess a sound knowledge of GK. The level of the exam will be based on the curriculum prescribed for class 12^th wherever applicable.

• The admit card for Symbiosis SET 2022 can only be downloaded from the official web portal of the university.
• The authority won’t send the admit card by post or any other medium.
• Candidates need to keep the printout copy of the admit card and bring it to the exam hall failing which they won’t be allowed to take the test.
• They are also required to carry a valid govt. id proof along with the admit card.
• The admit card should be kept safe till the admission process is completed.

Result

• To check the result of the entrance test, applicants need to visit the official website of the university.
• They can also download the score card by logging into the website using the credentials created at the time of registration.
• To shortlist the candidates for admission in various UG courses, a merit list will be prepared by the authority.
• Merit list will be drawn keeping in mind the performance of the candidates in the exam.
