SSC JE 2021: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Important Dates

SSC JE 2021: Most probably SSC Junior Engineer recruitment test will start conducting in the month of February 2021. In order to become eligible for appointment of Junior Engineer in various Government departments, candidates will have to go through two written test. Among two written tests, Paper 1 will be objective type test, whereas; Paper 2 will be a conventional type test.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • B.E/B.Tech/Diploma is the minimum education qualification; a candidate should have, in order to appear for SSC JE 2021.

Age Criteria

  • Candidates’ age should not be more than 32 years if they are interested to apply for Junior Engineer (Mechanical, Civil & Electrical), CPWD and Central Water Commission.
  • Age of candidates should be in between 18 to 27 years in case they are applying for Junior Engineer (Electrical & Civil).
  • Candidates’ age should not be more than 30 years in case they are applying for Junior Engineer (Mechanical, Civil & Electrical).
  • Reserved category candidates may avail the benefits of age relaxation according to the Government norms.

SSC JE Application Form 2021

One who is interested to apply for SSC JE 2021 he/she may apply thru the official admission portal of Staff Selection Commission. Candidates also need to make payment of Rs.100/- either in online or offline mode. In case you are falling under the category of Women, SC, ST,PH and Ex-servicemen then you can grab the benefits of exemption from paying the application fee.

SSC JE 2021 Exam Pattern

  • There will two stages of written test conducted.
  • SSC JE Paper 1 will contain questions from three parts i.e. General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Engineering.
  • SSC JE Paper 1 will be objective type only, whereas; Paper 2 will be conventional type questions.
  • There will be negative marking in Paper 2. It means a deduction of 0.25 marks will be there for every incorrect response.

SSC JE 2021 Admit Card

Staff Selection Commission never sends admit card to candidates thru post. Candidates have only one option of downloading this by visiting the official admission portal of Staff Selection Commission.

SSC JE 2021 Result

Paper 1 and Paper 2 result will be declared by Staff Selection Commission separately. Only those candidates will go further to appear for Paper 2 who have cleared Paper 1 exam.
