MP PPT 2022: Application form, Exam Date, pattern, eligibility, Syllabus

MP PPT 2022 will be conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) for admission in various engineering and non-engineering diploma courses offered by the polytechnic institutes in MP. Candidates can apply for the pre-polytechnic test by filling the online application form to be released in the 2nd week of March 2022. The exam will be conducted in online mode and candidates will get a total of 2 hours to complete the test. Before heading to the application form, applicants should check if they fulfill the eligibility conditions laid down by the authority or not. Ineligible candidates won’t be allowed to appear for the exam.

  • Candidates can obtain the application form via online mode. No printed applications will be considered for submission.
  • To apply for MP PPT, candidates must possess Aadhar card. Without the Aadhar information, they won’t be able to register for the exam.
  • Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained by them in the entrance exam.
  • The form must be submitted on or before the due date specified by the authority to avoid last-minute technical glitch.
  • To shortlist the candidates for admission, the authority will prepare a merit list as per the marks scored in MP PPT exam.

Syllabus

The syllabus of MP PPT exam will be based on the curriculum prescribed for class 10th. Candidates need to study Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry of class 10th level.

Preparation tips for the exam

Here are some useful preparation tips for scoring better marks in the exam-

  1. Maintain a daily study schedule and follow it religiously. Don’t get carried away by the distractions such as mobile phone, TV, relatives etc.
  2. Keep a few books for studies and revise them over and over. Candidates must read NCERTs for scoring good marks in the exam.
  3. Concentrate more on clearing the basic concepts first and then only proceed for the complex ones.
  4. Solve mock test daily to increase your efficiency and figure out the areas where improvement is required.
  5. Keep a separate notebook for short notes and revision. If you make a single copy for all the three subjects then it would be difficult to revise the topics.

MP Polytechnic Application form 2022

The application form for MP PPT can only be filled in online mode i.e. by visiting the official web portal of professional examination board, MP. Candidates need to keep their documents, scanned photograph and signature handy. The registration cum application form will bear the details such as- name, phone number, address, email id, father’s name, gender, date of birth, educational qualification, payment mode, etc.

Candidates are suggested to provide accurate information in the online form. They won’t be given an opportunity to edit their particulars in the form once it is submitted successfully. If the details provided by the candidates are found to be incorrect then such candidates will be disqualified from appearing in the exam. Incomplete form or those received without the stated application fee will be rejected by the authority.

Application fee

  • General category candidates are required to pay Rs. 400/- as the application fee for the exam.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC category need to pay Rs. 200/- for the same.
  • Additional charge of Rs. 70/- is applicable on using e-kiosk for filling the online form.
  • Candidates will be charged Rs. 40/- for login through registered citizen portal to apply for the exam.
  • Payment of the application fee can be made through credit card, debit card, net banking or E-kiosk.

Eligibility criteria for MP PPT 2022 Exam

The eligibility criteria for MP PPT 2022 exam are mentioned below-

  • Nationality: Candidate should be an Indian national.
  • Domicile: Applicants should be a domicile of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Age limit: The age of candidates should not be less than 16 years as on 1st January 2022 for mining program.
  • Educational qualification: Candidates should have passed class 10th (10+2 system of education) with science and mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized board. They should have scored minimum 35% marks in aggregate. Mathematics and science subjects are not compulsory for admission in fashion technology.

Note:

  • Female candidates cannot apply for mining and surveying/mine surveying course.
  • Those appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply for MP PPT exam.

Admit card

  • The admit card for MP PPT 2022 can be downloaded from the official web portal of professional examination board (PEB), Madhya Pradesh.
  • Candidates need to take the printout of the application form and keep it safe for further use.
  • Without the admit card, candidates will not be given the entry to the exam hall.
  • Applicants are also required to carry a valid govt. id proof to the exam hall along with the hall ticket.

Result

  • Candidates can check the result of MP PPT in the last week of April 2022 by visiting the official website i.e. peb.mp.gov.in.
  • The authority will draw a merit list based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance test.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called to attend the counselling process where they will be asked to lock their choice of college and course.
  • Finally, a seat will be allocated to the candidates based on their merit rank, seat availability; choice opted during the counselling among other factors.
  • Candidates need to report the allotted college to complete the admission pertaining formalities.
