Director of Health Services, Government of Kerala is the authority responsible for managing Kerala ANM Admission 2024. ANM or Auxiliary Nurses and Midwifery is a 2-year undergraduate diploma course in nursing. Kerala ANM Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates must make sure that they meet the following eligibility criteria.

  • The age of a candidate should be between 17 years and 30 years at the time of admission (relaxation of 3 years is given for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST).
  • Aspirants must have passed class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects and Malayalam as a medium of study.
  • Candidates who have studied in a school with a medium of instruction other than Malayalam need to submit a Certificate from the Gazette officer stating that he/ she can read and write in Malayalam.

Kerala ANM Application Form 2024

The application process for Kerala ANM Admission 2024 will take place in offline mode. Those interested and eligible candidates who want to apply may check out the step by step process explained below.

  • First of all, you will have to visit the official website.
  • Click on the download button and then notifications.
  • Now, the main application form along with the instruction to fill the same will display on your screen.
  • Download the application form and take a printout of the same.
  • Fill in all your details in the application form very carefully.
  • Please note that the details entered in the application form should be accurate. Otherwise, the form will be rejected by the authorities.
  • Then, you need to attach copies of Birth certificate,10thand 12th Marks sheet, Nativity Certificate, Income Certificate of Parents, Caste Certificate, Disability Certificate, and Challan with the application form.
  • After that, you will have to mail your application form and other documents to the centre listed in the notice.
    • Applicants from Trivandrum, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, and Kottayam districts need to submit the application form to the Principal of Junior PHN School Kottayam.
    • Those who belong to districts of Idukki, Alappuzha, Ernakulum, Palakkad, Thrissur, Malappuram should send their applications to the Principal of JPH School, Palakkad.
    • Candidates from the districts of Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod should send the application forms to the Principal of Junior PHN School Kasaragod.

Application Fee

The application fee is different for candidates from various categories as given below.

  • General and OBC candidates – Rs. 200/-
  • SC and ST candidates – Rs. 75/-

Kerala ANM Selection Process 2024

  • Candidates will be selected for admission purely on the basis of a merit list.
  • The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the class 12th
  • Please note that there is no provision for an entrance exam.
  • Marks secured by candidates in the 12th class exam are the only basis on which admission is going to be provided.

Merit list and Result

  • Once the application form submission gets over, authorities will prepare a merit list of candidates.
  • Please note that separate merit lists are prepared for candidates from different categories.
  • The merit list will be prepared solely on the basis of marks secured by candidates in the 12th class exam.
  • In case two or more candidates have equal marks then candidates with higher marks in English will be given preference. In case the tie persists the older candidate will be given preference.

Admission and Counselling

  • Those candidates who will get their names on the merit list will be invited to take part in the counselling process.
  • During the counselling process, all admission formalities will take place.
  • Candidates have to carry their original documents for verification at the time of admission.
  • Admission is confirmed after the verification of documents and payment of the admission fee.
