  • A candidate should fill and submit one application form only. Multiple application form will lead to rejection of the form.
  • At the time of filling the application form, candidates should choose the language carefully. Please note that this language can’t be changed later.
  • Authorities will also provide options to rectify the mistakes (if any) in the application form.
  • In case a candidate is also registered and appeared for the exam then there is no need to register again. Instead, you can simply log in by using the credentials during your previous registration.
  • Finally, candidates should take a printout of the application form submitted for future reference.

How to Apply for JEE Main Exam?

The complete process of JEE Main Examination Application Form submission is explained below.

  • First of all, you should visit the official website of NTA.
  • Go through the instructions available on the main screen.
  • Tick on the Disclaimer box and click on the “Apply Online” option.
  • Fill out the basic registration details including name, parent’s name, date of birth, qualification details, etc. to register.
  • Choose the four exam cities as per your preference.
  • Then, sign in using the credentials that you will get either on your email address or phone number.
  • Provide all the necessary academic, personal, and contact details in the application form.
  • Along with the details, it is also compulsory for candidates to upload passport size photograph & signature in JPG/ JPEG format.
  • The size of the photograph should be between 10 KB and 200 KB. Similarly, the size of the signature must be between 4 kb and 100 kb.
  • Make sure you recheck all the details entered in the application form before submitting the same.
  • Next, you should pay the application fees as per your course, preference, and category.
  • Click on the “Go payment” option.
  • The confirmation page will be generated on your screen after the fee payment.
  • Take a printout of the confirmation page and keep it safe for the future.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the JEE Main Eligibility Criteria carefully before submitting the application form.

  • Educational Qualification – Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board of education.
  • For B. Tech Course – Aspirants should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with 5 subjects including Physics & Mathematics as main subjects along with any one subject from Biology/ Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Technical Vocational subject.
  • For B. Arch – Candidates must have passed class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks. They should have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as their mandatory subject
  • B. Plan – Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
  • Age Limit – There is no age limit for JEE Main.
  • Appearing – Those candidates who are going to appear for the qualifying exam can also apply.
