HPU BEd 2022 entrance test will be conducted for providing admission to 2 years Regular B.Ed. course in Himachal Pradesh for the academic Session 2022-23. Duration of BEd Course
The BEd course in regular mode will be executed over a period of minimum 2 years and a maximum 3 academic years. There will at least 100 working days in each semester excluding the exam period and admissions with 600 teaching clock hours.
Students must meet 80% attendance rule in theory paper while 90% attendance in Field Attachments/School Internship/Practice Teaching in mandatory. No relaxation will be permissible.

HPU B.Ed 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are willing to apply for HPU B.Ed 2022 entrance test can either apply in the Department of Education, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, Government College of Teacher Education, Dharamshala or in any of the private/self-financing Colleges of Education subject to that they meet the following criteria:
Age Limit: There is no prescribed upper age limit.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Medical/Non-Medical/Commerce/Arts) with 50.00 percent marks or 5.01 if CGPA or Grade B and/or in the Master’s Degree in the Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities/Commerce, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55.00 percent or 5.51 if CGPA or Grade B+ or its equivalent degree.
This criterion for SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped categories is 45.00 percent or 4.51 if CGPA in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or 50.00 percent marks or 5.01 if CGPA or Grade B for Bachelor’s in Engineering or technology.
Final year students– Those have appeared in BA/B.Sc./B.Com. final year or BE/BTech or any other equivalent exam and waiting for their result to be announced can also apply for HPU BEd 2022 entrance test.

After you enter and submit your personal information, the system will automatically generate a Unique Registration Number along with password.

HPU B.Ed 2022 Exam Pattern
There will be an objective type entrance test conducted upon qualifying which candidates will be able to seek admission to BEd course. The minimum qualifying marks is 35 % (i.e. 53 out of
150). This criterion is 30 % (45 out of 150) for SC/ST/OBC/PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED category candidates.
There will be a single paper of 150 marks and each question will carry one mark. Students will be given 2 hours of time to solve the paper.
There will be no negative marking in the exam.

GENERAL AWARENESS

HPU B.Ed 2022 Admit Card
The university will upload HPU BEd 2022 admit card at its official website www.hpuniv.ac.in. Candidates can further download their admit card by visiting the official website. Admit cards won’t be sent to candidates via post.
The admit card comprises of information like Name, roll number, category, father’s name, photograph, time, date and venue of the entrance test.
If you find certain discrepancy in the admit card then you should immediately inform the university with the requisite fee of Rs. 100/-. In that case, you can appear in the exam with the same admit card but university will make correction of factual error in the record later.
You are not allowed to sit in the exam in the absence of your admit card. Keep your admit card at safe place till the admission process is over.
HPU B.Ed 2022 Result
The university will first upload the answer key and thereafter the final result is prepared and uploaded at university website. The university will prepare combined and category-wise merit on the basis of minimum qualified marks scored by candidates in the entrance test
The university doesn’t sent result of a candidate via post. Therefore, you need to check your result online by visiting the official website of concerned authority.
HPU B.Ed 2022 Counselling
The counselling schedule will be released after the declaration of merit list. The admission in all the Govt./Private Self-Financing Educational Institutions/Colleges will be based on merit of candidates in the HPU B.Ed. Entrance Test.
- The following original certificates/documents as well as their photocopies must be brought by the candidates at the time of counselling/admission:-
- Print out of online application form.
- Bonafide/Domicile certificate issued by the Tehsildar/Executive Magistrate of the area concerned.
- The candidates belonging to other than H.P. State shall also bring Bonafide/domicile certificate of their state issued by the Tehsildar/Executive Magistrate of the area concerned.
- Claim consideration certificate for admission under any of the Reserved Categories. (The certificate should be the latest and signed by the competent authority as mentioned in the ‘Clause 5.1 (viii)’except SC/ST Bonafide Certificate), the OBC certificate should be issued by the competent authority within one year.
- Plus 2 Certificate or equivalent.
- BA/ B.Sc./ B.Com. (Part I, II & III)/ MA/ M.Sc./ M.com./ Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology or its equivalent examination certificates alongwith degree in the concerned capacity.
- Character certificate from the Institution last attended in case of candidates having no gap in their education. However, the candidates who have gap(s) of one or more years in their education should bring latest character certificate from the Tehsildar/SDM of the Area Concerned.
- Admit Card downloaded from the website of the University for B.Ed. Entrance Test 2021.
- Certificate being Single Girl Child from the Tehsildar/SDM of the area concerned.
- A counselling fee of Rs.200/-( in cash non-refundable) shall be deposited at the time of counselling by the candidate.
