CG PPT 2022: Chhattisgarh Polytechnic Admission

cgpptCG PPT 2022 examination will be conducted by the Chhattisgarh professional examination board, Raipur for admission in different diploma courses offered by the polytechnic colleges in the state. Candidates interested in pursuing diploma in engineering and non-engineering fields need to apply for the exam by filling the online application form.

Before proceeding for the application form, candidates should go through the eligibility criteria specified by the authority to appear in the exam. CG PPT 2022 will be conducted in offline mode where the students will be given a question booklet and OMR answer sheet to mark the answer. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours.

CG PPT 2022 – Highlights

  • The application form for pre-polytechnic test can only be filled online. No printed applications shall be considered for form submission.
  • The form should be submitted on or before the due date given by the board to avoid the last minute rush or technical problem.
  • Candidates must possess a valid email id and phone number in order to register for the exam. The authority will communicate to the candidates via these mediums only.
  • It is compulsory for the candidates to pay the required application fee for the exam. The fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

CG Polytechnic Syllabus 2022

The syllabus for CG Pre-Polytechnic Test will typically be based on the curriculum prescribed for class 10th. The topics under syllabus are mentioned below-

Science: Measurement, motion and force, work and energy, wave and sound, matter-nature and behavior, structure of atom, light, electricity and its effects, magnetic effects of current, magnetism, periodic classification of elements, chemical bonding, rate of chemical reaction and chemical equilibrium, some important chemical compounds, hydrocarbons, metals, coal and petroleum, sources of energy, biosphere, pollution, etc.

Mathematics: Surds and indices, ratio and proportion, rational number, polynomials, quadratic equation, arithmetic series, linear equation, trigonometry, geometry, coordinate geometry, statistics, probability, Mensuration, Computer etc.

CG PPT 2022 Application form

The application form for CG PPT exam can only be filled online by visiting the official website of Chhattisgarh professional examination board i.e. http://cgvyapam.choice.gov.in/. Candidates should keep their documents handy while filling the application form. The form will bear the following details- name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, class 10th roll number, category, address, class 10th marks, percentage to name a few.

The details provided by the candidates should be correct to their knowledge and match their official records. If during any phase, the information given by the applicants is found to be false or misleading then such candidates will be debarred from taking the exam. The form must be submitted along with the application fee on time failing which the authority will reject the applications.

Application fee

  • General category candidates need to pay Rs. 200/- as the application fee for the exam.
  • OBC category candidates need to pay Rs. 150/- toward the application fee payment.
  • Candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ PWD category are required to pay Rs. 100/- for the same.
  • The application fee can be paid through credit card, debit card and net banking.

Eligibility criteria

In order to appear for the CG PPT test, candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down by the authority. They can check their eligibility status from the requirements mentioned below-

  • Domicile: Candidates should be a domicile of Chhattisgarh.
  • Educational qualification: Applicants should have passed class 10th exam or its equivalent from a recognized board with science and mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates should have scored minimum 35% marks in aggregate. SC/ ST/ OBC and PWD candidates need only to have passed class 10th

Admit card

  • The admit card for CG PPT 2022 can be downloaded from the official website of CG Vyapam.
  • Candidates need to take a colored printout of the admit card and keep it safe for further use.
  • It is important for the candidates to carry a valid id proof along with the hall ticket. The id proof may be Aadhar card, passport, Pan Card, voter ID card, driving license, or class 10th
  • They must report to the exam center as specified in the admit card at least an hour before the exam.
  • Without the admit card, entry to the exam hall shall be denied to the candidates and they won’t be able to appear for the test.

Result and counselling

  • After the commencement of the exam, the authority will release the model answer key. If candidates find any objection with the answer key, they may raise an objection in the stipulated time.
  • The final result will be published on the official website in the 4th week of May 2022.
  • Candidates who qualify the exam as per the cutoff decided by the authority will be invited to attend the counselling procedure.
  • During the counselling, candidates will have to indicate their choice of preference for course and college.
  • The authority will allocate a seat to the candidates based on their merit rank, seat availability and choices given during the counselling.
