B.S Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology will be inviting the applications for admission in B.Tech courses offered by it. For this purpose, the Institute will hold an entrance test to shortlist the candidates for admission. Interested students can apply for BSAUEEE 2022 by filling the online application form to be released in the 1^st week of January 2022. Before heading over to the application form, students need to take a thorough look at the eligibility criteria set by the authority. The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode and candidates will be given a total of 2 hours to finish the test.

BSAUEEE 2022- Highlights

• To apply for BSAUEEE entrance test, students can fill the application form only through online mode. The university won’t be releasing printed forms for application submission purpose.
• Candidates can download the admit card of the exam after booking the slots for the same.
• No application correction window will be provided to the candidates for editing or making changes in the application form once submitted successfully.
• JEE Main qualified candidates need not appear for the entrance test conducted by the University. Such candidates can apply for admission based on their JEE Main score.
• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in concerned qualifying exam and marks secured in CIEAT entrance test conducted by B.S Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology.

Syllabus

Students are required to study the syllabus prescribed for class 11^th and 12^th respectively. They need to prepare Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (Biology for those opting for biotechnology). Here are the key topics under the BSAUEEE 2022 syllabus-

• Mathematics: Sets, relations and functions, complex number, quadratic equation, matrices and determinants, permutation and combination, limits, continuity and differentiability, integral calculus, differential equations, mathematics induction, etc.
• Chemistry: States of matter, s-block elements, p-block elements, d and f block elements, chemical bonding and molecular structure, chemical thermodynamics, solutions, equilibrium, redox reactions and electrochemistry, surface chemistry, inorganic chemistry, etc
• Physics: Kinematics, work, power and energy, gravitation, laws of motion, properties of solids and liquids, thermodynamics, electrostatics, current electricity, kinetic theory of gases, thermodynamics, oscillations and waves, magnetic effects of current and magnetism, etc
• Biology: Cell biology and genetics, immunology, plant physiology, biotechnology, plant anatomy, environmental science, taxonomy of angiosperms, biology in human welfare etc.

How to prepare for the exam?

Given below are some important preparation tips to score good marks in the CIEAT exam–

1. Maintain a daily study routine and do not lose the consistency.
2. Always begin your preparation with the NCERTs first and then follow other resources for more depth on a topic.
3. Clear your doubts the moment they arise.
4. Practice online test series or mock tests to figure out the areas where you need improvement.
5. Avoid rote learning the concepts and try to understand the reason and logic behind that concept/ topic.
6. Stay away from social media, mobile phones and other things that can influence your studies negatively.

Application form

Candidates can fill the online application form by visiting the official website of the university i.e. www.crescent.education. The form will include personal, education and payment details of the applicants. Students need to keep their documents along with scanned photograph and signature handy while filling the form. Here are the details candidates need to enter in the form-name, gender, date of birth, religion, community, Aadhar card number, parent’s details, course preference, address, educational information among others.

The details provided in the form should match the official records of the candidates. If at any stage, the information given by the applicant is found to be incorrect or misleading, then that candidate will be disqualified from the exam. It is compulsory for the students to pay the necessary amount of application fee for the CIEAT exam. Incomplete application or those received without the application fee will be rejected by the authority.

Application fee

Applicants need to pay Rs. 1000/- towards the application fee for the exam. The payment can be made online using the credit card, debit card and net banking or offline using E-Challan or in cash mode. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

BSAUEEE 2022- Eligibility criteria

Candidates can check their eligibility status from the eligibility conditions mentioned below-

• Age criteria: The age of the candidates should fall on or after 1^st July 2000.
• For B.Tech (admission to 1^st year): Candidates should have passed class 12^th exam or its equivalent from a recognized board with minimum 60% aggregate marks in PCM subject group. They should hold a valid CIEAT or JEE Main score. Only those candidates can apply for the test who has received full-time/regular or formal education.
• For B.Tech (Lateral entry): Applicants should have done diploma (3 years) in engineering/ technology or its equivalent from a recognized institute/university with at least 60% marks in aggregate. Candidates who have done B.Sc from a recognized university with 60% aggregate marks and have studied mathematics as one of the subjects of study can also apply.

Admit card

• Candidates will be able to obtain the admit card of BSAUEEE 2022 after they have successfully booked a slot.
• No admit card shall be sent to the candidates through post or otherwise.
• Students need to download the admit card and keep a printout copy of the same for future use.
• They also need to check the details in the hall ticket such as- reporting time, exam venue, date and day of the exam, name, roll number, photograph etc.
• Those who do not possess the admit card (along with a valid ID proof) will not be allowed to appear in the exam.

Result and Counselling

• The result of BSAUEEE can be checked from the website of the university.
• The authority will prepare a merit list based on the performance of the candidates in the exam.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called to attend the counselling process conducted by the university.
• Candidates will be allotted a seat based on the following factors- merit rank, percentage obtained in class 12^th, seat availability and fulfillment of the eligibility requirements set by the institute.
• Applicants will also undergo the document verification phase where their original documents will be thoroughly verified.
