Bihar TET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

It is important for all candidates to make sure that they are eligible before filling the application form. The eligibility criteria for Bihar TET 2022 are given below.

Nationality

  • Only Indian Citizens are allowed to apply.

Domicile

  • Aspirants should have a domicile of Bihar

Age Limit

The minimum age of a candidate should be 21 years. The upper age limits are different for various categories as given below.

  • Male candidates: 37 years
  • Female candidates: 40 years
  • OBC candidates: 40 years
  • SC/ ST candidates: 42 years

Educational Qualification

The educational qualification requirements are different for Paper – I and Paper – II.

Paper – I (Primary teachers)

  • Hindi – Aspirants must have completed graduation in Hindi. Candidates should also have B.Ed.
  • Urdu – Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Urdu along with a B.Ed. degree.
  • Sanskrit – Graduation in Sanskrit along with B.Ed.
  • English – Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in English + B.Ed.
  • Maths – Applicants must have completed graduation with Maths, Physics, & Chemistry subjects. Along with Graduation, candidates must complete B.Ed. Aspirants with B.Tech with Mathematics as a subject along with B.Ed. can also apply.
  • Science – Applicants must have completed graduation with Zoology, Botany, & Chemistry subjects. Along with Graduation, candidates must complete B.Ed. Aspirants with B.Tech with Science as a subject along with B.Ed. can also apply.
  • Social Studies: Candidates should have completed graduation with History, Geography, Economy, and Polity. Aspirants must also have a B.Ed. degree.

Paper – II (Upper – Primary level teachers)

  • English: Aspirants must have a PG degree in English along with B.Ed.
  • Maths: Candidates should have a PG degree in Mathematics. Aspirants must also have a B.Ed. degree
  • Physics: Candidates must have a Postgraduate degree in Physics along with B.Ed.
  • Chemistry: Applicants should have a PG degree in chemistry. Candidates must have a B.Ed. degree.
  • Zoology: Aspirants must have a post-graduation degree in zoology. Also, candidates should have B.Ed.
  • Botany: Candidates with a PG degree in botany and B.Ed. are eligible.
  • Computer Science: Applicants with any of the following qualifications are eligible.
    • ‘A’ level from DOEACC and Post Graduate Degree in any subject Or
    • BE or B. Tech (Any Stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computers. Or
    • BE or B.Tech (Computer Science/IT). Or
    • B.Sc. (Computer Science) / BCA or Equivalent and Post Graduate Degree in any subject. Or
    • M.Sc. (Computer Science) / MCA or Equivalent. Or
    • ‘B’ Level from DOEACC and Postgraduate degree in any subject. Or
    • Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate Degree in any subject. Or
    • C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Graduation. Or
    • MCA three years course (6 semesters)

Bihar TET Application Form 2022

The application form for Bihar TET 2022 will release in online mode only. Those who want to apply need to fill and submit the application form through the official website. Complete details related to the process of application are given below.

  • First of all, aspirants have to visit the official website i.e. biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.
  • On the official website, candidates have to register themselves by providing some of their basic details.
  • The basic details include name of the candidate, age, date of birth, and all other credentials.
  • Next, candidates can sign-in using the credentials generated during registration.
  • In the next step, completed academic, personal, and contact details are required to provide in the application form by candidates.
  • The details provided by candidates in the entrance test must be accurate. Otherwise, the application form will be rejected.
  • Candidates are also required to upload scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.
  • All candidates should also pay the necessary application fee along with the application form.

Mode of payment: The application fee can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking. Apart from this, application fees can also be paid offline through SBI bank e-challan.

Bihar TET 2022 Admit Card

  • Those candidates who will fill and submit the application form before the last will be able to download admit cards online.
  • To download an admit card, candidates have to provide their registration details on the official website.
  • The information such as date, time, and venue of the examination will be mentioned on the admit card.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card. Along with the admit card, aspirants should also have a photo ID proof.
  • Keep the admit card safe even after the exam for future references.

    Why b.com candidates are not eligible for btet… If they are not able to teach primary or upper primary students…then why they are allowing the b.com candidates for b.ed course… no one thought that this is very unfair with b.com candidates….
