National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), Assam has the responsibility of shortlisting candidates for admission to ANM courses in the state of Assam. To do that it conducts an examination called the Assam ANM entrance exam. ANM course stands for Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery course. It is a 2-year nursing course. After clearing the exam, a candidate will become eligible for admission to nursing colleges in the state of Assam. The application form will release in offline mode. Assam ANM Eligibility Criteria 2024

All candidates must make sure that they are eligible before filling the application form. Remember, application forms of ineligible candidates will be summarily rejected. The eligibility criteria for Assam ANM Admission 2024 is given below.

Nationality

• Only Indian Citizens are eligible to apply.

Age Limit

• The age of a candidate should be between 17 years and 27 years as of 1^st January 2024.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board of education.

Domicile

• Only those candidates can apply who are permanent residents of the state of Assam.

Assam ANM Application Form 2024

Authorities will release the notification for Assam ANM 2024 Admission in at least two local dailies (newspapers). In the notification, all details of the admission and prescribed format of the application will be given. Then, aspirants have to fill and submit the application form to the respective SDWOs.

• To start filling the application form, candidates will have to provide their basic as well as academic details.
• All details entered in the application form should be correct in every manner. Any incorrect information can make the application form liable for rejection.
• Along with the details, it is necessary for all candidates to affix their photographs on the application form.
• Make sure you sign the application form after filling it. Unsigned application forms will be summarily rejected.
• It is necessary for an applicant to submit the application form to the respective SDWOs before the last date. Late applications will not be considered.
• Along with the application form, candidates should submit all their necessary documents (photocopies only).
• Apart from this, it is necessary for candidates to pay the application fee along with the form.
• An application form will not be considered without an application fee.

Assam ANM 2024 Admit Card

• Once the application form submission process gets over, authorities will release the admit card online through the official website.
• To download the admit card, candidates will have to visit the website and provide their registration details.
• An admit card will carry information about the examination date, time, and venue.
• The exam authorities will not allow any candidate to enter the examination hall without an admit card.
• Along with the admit card, candidates must carry one photo ID proof at the entrance exam centre.

Assam ANM Result 2024

• The result of the Assam ANM 2024 examination will release online through the official website of the Government of Assam Health & Family Welfare.

• To check the result, aspirants will have to sign in by entering their login credentials created during registration.
• Information about the subject-wise and total marks secured by candidates in the entrance exam will be mentioned on the result card.

Counselling

• Only those candidates will be invited to take part in the counselling process who will clear the entrance test.
• All admission formalities will take place during the counselling process.
