AP ANM Admission Eligibility Criteria 2024

It is necessary for all candidates to make sure that they are eligible before filling the form. The eligibility norms that all aspirants need to meet are as follows.

Age Limit

  • The age of a candidate should be between 17 years and 30 years as of 31st December 2024. The upper age limit is 35 years for SC, ST, BC candidates.

Educational Qualification

  • Aspirants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in Arts, Science or Commerce (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health care Science.

Those eligible and interested candidates need to submit the application form offline. The complete process of the application form submission is explained below.

  • To begin the application form submission process, you need to visit the official website http://cfw.ap.nic.in.
  • On the official website, you need to find and click on the link to download an application form.
  • After download the application form, you will have to take a printout of the same.
  • In the main application form, aspirants are required to provide their necessary details in neat and clean handwriting.
  • You need to provide your complete educational, personal, and contact details in the application form.
  • The details entered in the application form should be accurate otherwise authorities will reject the form.
  • After filling the application form, you need to submit the same before the last.
  • You can submit the form to the concerned DM&HOs in the district where the institute is located for admission in respect of Govt./ Grant-in-aid/ Private ANM course institutions along with photocopies of the following documents.
    • Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST/BCs)
    • SSC certificate
    • Intermediate mark sheet
    • Intermediate certificate
    • Registration fee of Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) by way of D.D. in favour of Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare, A.P., Amaravathi payable at Hyderabad. Please note that there is no registration fee for BC/ SC/ ST candidates.
    • Residential Certificate/ Study Certificate from 4th to 10th class
  • You should keep a copy of the application form and DD submitted safe for future references.

  • BC/ SC/ ST Candidates – Nil
  • General Candidates – Rs. 50/-

Mode of payment – Aspirants can pay the application fee offline using a demand draft to be drawn in favour of Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare, A.P., Amaravathi payable at Hyderabad.

Andhra Pradesh ANM 2024 Selection Process

  • The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the qualifying exam.
  • Remember, authorities will not organize any entrance test to shortlist the candidates.
  • Out of total seats, 40% seats are Management seats and the rest 60% seats are called “Free Seats”.

Result

  • Once the application process gets over, authorities will publish the admission result online.
  • The result will publish in the form of merit lists.
  • Please note that separate merit lists will be released for candidates from different categories.
  • At the time of creating the merit list, authorities will place those candidates who will clear the exam in a compartmental system after those candidates who clear the exam in the first attempt.

Counselling

  • Those successful candidates who will get their names on the merit list will be allowed to participate in the counselling process.
  • During the counselling process, candidates will have to complete all the admission formalities.
  • Candidates must carry their original documents for verification at the time of counselling.
  • The admission will be provided only after the verification of documents of payment of admission fees.
