AIIMS MBBS Application Form

All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) are the most reputed medical institutes in India. Those students who want to take admission in MBBS course need to apply through NEET. There is no specific AIIMS MBBS application form. The admissions are provided through the NEET examination. The application form for NEET will release in online mode only. Interested and eligible candidates have to submit the same before the last date. Please note that an application form submitted without fees will be rejected. The complete process to fill and submit the AIIMS MBBS (NEET) Application Form is explained in this post.

Keep the following things ready while filling the application form 

Before filling the application form, candidates must keep the following documents ready.

  • Scanned image of the Passport size Photograph of the candidate in JPG/JPEG format and Image size should be between 10Kb to 200Kb
  • Scanned image of Left Hand Thumb Impression of the candidate in JPG format and Image size should be between 10Kb to 50Kb
  • Debit card, credit card, or net banking details if you want to pay the application fee online.
  • Scanned image of Class 10th Certificate of the candidate in JPG format and Image size should be between 100Kb to 300Kb
  • Scanned image of Post Card size Photograph of the candidate in JPG format and Image size should be between 50Kb to 300Kb

How to Apply for AIIMS MBBS?

Aspirants must ensure that they meet AIIMS MBBS Eligibility Criteria before filling the application form. The step by step to fill and submit the AIIMS MBBS (NEET) application form is explained below.

1st Step – Registration

  • First of all, you need to visit the official website of NTA in order to start the application form submission. The official website is www.ntaneet.nic.in.
  • After visiting the official website, you will have to click on the “New Registration” button available on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Next, the application instructions will appear on your screen. You should read the instruction and mark the checkbox against “I have read and understood all the instructions mentioned in the Information Bulletin”.
  • Then, click on the “Proceed to apply on the NEET (UG)” button.
  • Now, the registration form will open on your screen. Here, you need to enter the following registration details correctly – Candidate’s Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, Category, Person with Disabilities, Disability Details, Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, State of Eligibility, Identification type, Details of the identification document, Mobile Number, Email ID, Captcha code.
  • Click on the “Preview and Next” button after entering all the registration details.
  • In the preview, you will have to check and verify that all details are entered correctly.
  • Then, click on the “Next” button.
  • Now, You will have to create a password for yourself so that you can login next time. Here, you will also have to choose a security question.
  • After that, you will get an OTP on your registered phone number. Enter the OTP correctly.
  • Finally, click on the “Submit” button.

That’s it, your registration process is complete now. The application number will now appear on your screen. You should note it down.

2nd Step – Sign-in and fill the application form

  • After the registration, you need to log-in by entering your application number and password.
  • On logged-in, the main application form will appear on your screen.
  • In the main application form, you will have to provide the following details in an accurate manner.
    • Personal Details – Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, SC, Date of birth, Gender, Nationality, State of Eligibility, Person with Disability, Do you belong to Minority Category, Are you suffering from Diabetes Type 1?, Identification type, Identification number.
    • Place of birth
    • Choice of Medium of Question paper
    • Choice of Examination City – 1st choice of examination city, 2nd choice of examination city, 3rd choice of examination city, 4th choice of examination city.
    • Academic Details (Class 10th or equivalent) – Name of school education board, Name of the school/ college, Address of the school/ college, year of passing, percentage of marks obtained in class 10th
    • Academic Details (Class 11th or equivalent) – Name of the school/ college, year of passing, place of study, state where class 11th school/ college is located, district where class 11th school/ college is located.
    • Academic Details (Class 12th or equivalent) – School Board of class 12th/ qualifying exam, name of the school/ college, address of the school/ college, place of study, state where class 12th school/ college is located, district where class 12th school/ college is located, year of passing/ appearing, % of marks obtained in class 12th/ qualifying examination, roll number of class 12th
    • Permanent Address – House number, locality, land mark, village/ town/ city, zip code, state, district, email address, mobile number, land line number with STD code.
    • Correspondence Address – House number, locality, land mark, village/ town/ city, pin code/ zip code, state, district.
    • Details of Parents/ Guardian – Father’s detail (Qualification, occupation, annual income), Mother’s detail (Qualification, occupation, annual income)
    • Dress Code –
    • Security Pin – Enter the captcha code appearing on your screen.
  • At the time of entering the details, you will have to enter the OTP that you will receive on your registered phone number.
  • Finally, click on the “Final Submit” button after entering all details in the application form.

3rd Step – Upload Scanned Images

  • After submitting the form, you will have to upload recent photograph and signature of the candidate.
  • Rules of uploading photograph and signature are as follows.
    • The photograph of a candidate should be in JPG format. Plus, the size of the image should be between 10Kb and 200 Kb.
    • Please note that the signature should be in JPG format. The size of the signature should be between 4Kb and 30 Kb
  • Click on the “Upload” button.

4th Step – Pay the application fee

  • Once you are done uploading the images, you need to pay the necessary application fee.
  • The application fees are different for candidates from various categories.
    • General Candidates: Rs. 1500/-
    • Other backward classes – Rs. 1400/-
    • Scheduled Caste/ Schedule Tribe – Rs. 800/-
    • Persons with Disability – Rs. 800/-
  • You can pay the AIIMS MBBS Application fee or NEET Application in either of the following methods.
    • Online method – Net Banking, All debit card, Credit card, Unified Payment Interface (UPI)
    • Offline method – Cash deposit through e-Challan.

5th – Take printouts for future reference

  • The final step of AIIMS MBBS Application Form submission is taking printouts of important documents. You should take printouts of the following documents for future references.
    • Proof of remittance of fee
    • Computer Generated Confirmation Page of NTA NEET Online Application
    • Copy of the System generated Self Declaration in respect of candidates from UTs of J & K and Ladakh who have opted for seats under 15% All India Quota
