The candidates will be selected for admissions into engineering degree courses offered by SRM University on the basis of entrance exam. The entrance test, known and conducted as SRMJEEE 2022, will be held in online mode in the month of April 2022 (tentatively). The application process for the same has begun from 15th November 2021 and the candidates can fill their applications online. Candidates are advised to make sure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam as any refund of the submitted fee will not be possible in case of ineligibility.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for SRMJEEE 2022 in terms of nationality, age and qualification are given below:

Nationality:

• Candidates of Indian nationality and NRI, OCI and PIO candidates can apply for SRMJEE 2022.

Age limit:

• Applicants born between 1^st July 2001 and 1^st July 2004 are eligible to apply.

Academic criteria:

• Those who have passed their class 12^th exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology are eligible.
• Candidates passing their 12^th from NIOS can apply too given they have not passed their 10^th class exam also from NIOS.
• Applicants who have passed their qualifying exam (12^th class) in not more than 2 attempts are only eligible.

SRMJEE Application Form 2022

The online application form for SRMJEE 2022 will be released on the official website of the university. The complete process of application will consist of 5 simple steps namely, registration, email verification, form filling, fee payment and documents upload.

• At first, the candidates will have to register themselves online by providing their basic personal details such as name, date of birth, email address, phone number, etc.
• After registration, the email id of the candidates will be verified by sending a verification mail.
• Once the email is verified successful, the candidates will be able to fill the details as asked into the application form.
• Details to be filled in the application form will include personal details, educational details, address details, exam city choice, etc.
• The next step will be payment of application fee which will be Rs. 1100/- and can be paid in online mode.
• At last, the candidates will have to upload their photograph and signature in scanned format.
• Once the form is filled completely, it can be submitted online. a hard copy of the application form after submission should be taken by the candidates for further reference.

SRMJEEE Admit Card 2022

• Successfully registered candidates will be able to download their admit card from the institute’s website.
• Admit card can be downloaded by the candidates using their applicant login details.
• Name, photograph and address of the candidates’ along with the test center details will be printed on the admit card.
• The candidates should report for the exam as per the center mentioned in the admit card only.
• Any discrepancy in the admit card should be communicated to the Director, Admissions for correction.
• Candidate must keep their admit card safe even after the exam is over as it will be required at the time of counseling and admission as well.

Result

• Result  will be announced in online mode hopefully in the month of May 2022.
• The candidates can check their result by visiting the official website and an intimation regarding the same will also be sent to the candidates on their registered email.
• A merit list of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the entrance exam.
• The list will be drawn in the order of ranking and the counseling will be conducted according to this list.

Counseling

• Candidates who successfully clear the entrance test will be invited to take part in the counseling process.
• The candidates can provide their choice for branch and SRM campus in which they seek admission.
• Documents and eligibility of the candidates will also be verified at the time of counseling.
• After successful verification, the candidates will be allotted seats according to their ranking, choice and availability of seats.
• Selected candidates should then report to the allotted institute and complete the formalities of admission.
