DU Eligibility criteria for UG Courses:

B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics/ BMS/ BBA (FIA) Applicants need to pass 12th examination with obtaining no less than 60% marks (55% marks for candidates from SC, ST, CW and PwD categories) in following four papers: English, Mathematics as mandatory subject and other two elective subjects as approved by the University of Delhi

Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination may also apply.

B.A. (Hons.) Humanities and Social Sciences Candidates should pass 10+2 examination with minimum of 60 % marks (54% marks for candidates from OBC, 57% in case of PwD/ CW category and minimum passing marks for SC/ST category.)
B.Tech (Information technology & Mathematical Innovation) Candidates should clear 12th examination with Mathematics scoring minimum of 60 % marks (54% marks for candidates from OBC, 57% in case of PwD/ CW category and minimum passing marks for SC/ST category.)
Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EL.Ed) A pass in 12th with no less than 50% aggregate marks.

Appearing candidates can also apply

B.A. (Hons.) Multi Media & Mass Communication Applicants should clear 12th with minimum of 75% aggregate marks of best four subjects including 85% marks in English.

Only women candidates can apply.

Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, Health Education & Sports i.e. B.Sc. (P.E., H.E. & S.) A pass in 12th with no less than 45% aggregate marks.

M.Sc. Physics Candidates should hold a B.Sc degree in related subjects or any discipline of Science or Engineering with Mathematics and Physics with obtaining no less than 60% aggregate marks (50% marks in case of B.Sc. (Hons.))
M.A. Political Science Applicants should hold B.A. Degree with minimum of 50% marks or any other graduate degree (commerce/ Science/Engineering etc) with no less than 60% marks from the recognized University/institution.
MCA Candidates must possess Bachelor degree (10+2+3 pattern) from the University of Delhi with minimum one paper in Mathematical Sciences (computer Science, Mathematics, Operational research, Statistics).
LL.M. Applicants having a 3-year/5- year LL.B. Degree with minimum of 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates from OBC/SC/ST category) are eligible to apply.

 Delhi University Admission 2021 Application form: How to apply?

Admission of candidates to undergraduate courses into the disciplines of Humanities / Arts /Music and Fine Arts, Mathematical Sciences/ Commerce and Sciences under various faculties will be based on merit list which prepare on the basis of candidate’s marks in qualifying examination. There will be common pre-admission form for all these UG programmes.

Candidates, who are seeking admission in the undergraduate courses for which entrance exam is compulsory, must fill the application form. The details of application form are as follows:

  • First of all, candidates need to complete the online registration process. They can register themselves through online mode only.
  • The applicants can fill the application form most probably from May 2021.
  • Applicants can apply for more than one educational programme but they have to deposit a separate application fee for each programme.
  • In addition, candidates need to upload scanned images of their recent passport size photograph, signature, self attested copy of caste certificate (if valid), self attested ID proof, and self attested photocopy of 10th passing certificate as per the given specifications.
  • For successful completion of application submission process candidates have to pay an applicable registration fee. They can make the payment of required fee through online mode only using credit card/debit card/net banking.

Examination centers

The university will organize UG/PG entrance examination in 6 cities namely Delhi, Bengaluru, Jammu, Nagpur, Kolkata, and Varanasi.

 Admit card

The university will issue the admit card through online on its official website probably in month of May 2021. Candidates can download their admit card online only from their registration account. No admit card will be sent via post. Applicants should bring one identity proof along with the admit card while appearing in the examination center.

Result

The authority will announce the Delhi University Result 2021 for undergraduate and postgraduate courses most probably in the month of July 2021. Candidates who qualify the written exam will invite for further interview/group discussion round. A merit list will also be announced on the basis of candidate’s performance in entrance test and interview/group discussion.

Admission

Admission is offered in the Delhi University on the basis of merit made through candidates marks scored in entrance test and interview/GD. For admission to Business Economics/ BMS/B.A. (Hons) /BBA (FIA), courses the 85% weightage will be given to the written exam and 15% weightage to Group discussion and Interview.
