AIIMS 2021 is conducted at national level for offering admission into MBBS programmed offered by 7 AIIMS institutions located at New Delhi, Jodhpur, Bhopal, Rishikesh, Patna, Bhubnaeswar and Raipur. The exam is conducted in online mode for admission against 700 MBBS seats available in 7 AIIMS institutions.

AIIMS 2021 Application Form (First Read the Eligibility)

Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS MBBS entrance exam 2021:

Age Criteria

The minimum age of a candidate should be 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission. It shows that the candidate whose date of birth falls on or after 2nd January 2005 is not allowed to apply for the exam.

Educational Qualification

Candidates have to pass 10+2 or its equivalent exam with Chemistry, Physics, English and Biology. If you are appearing the final year exam of the qualifying degree then also you can apply. The aggregate of marks secured by candidates in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English should be 60% for General/OBC and 50% for SC/ST/OPH candidates.

 Nationality Criteria

All the Indian citizen, Overseas Citizen of Indian (OCI) and foreign nationals are permitted to apply for the exam.

How to Apply for AIIMS 2021?

Eligible candidates are permitted to apply for AIIMS MBBS 2021 in online mode only. The offline mode of application will be rejected by the concerned authority. Candidates should be careful enough while making entries in the application form in order to avoid any future shortfalls. Please keep all the necessary documents such as your photograph, signature and thumb impression ready before you start applying online.

Application Fee

The application fee for General/ OBC (Creamy and Non-creamy Layers) is Rs. 1000/- and for SC/ST is Rs.800/-. Candidates should make payment of application fee through credit card/debit card/net banking.

AIIMS 2021 Exam Pattern

Hope you have read the information furnished above and confirmed your eligibility. As you have one more year left for the preparation of AIIMS MBBS entrance exam 2021, so first have look on its exam pattern:

  • The mode of the entrance exam is Computer Based Test (CBT);
  • The duration of the exam will be 3 ½ hours.
  • The exam will be conducted in two shifts i.e. First Shift (9:00 AM to 12:30 PM) and Second Shift (3:00 PM to 6:30 PM).
  • All the questions asked in the exam will be of objective type only.
  • The question paper will consist of 200 questions in total.
  • Question paper given to the candidates will be in two languages i.e. English and Hindi.
  • For the every correct attempt, candidates will be awarded one mark, whereas 1/3 marks gets deducted for every incorrect attempt.
