BVP CET Law 2022: Bharati Vidyapeeth University Law Admission
Bharati Vidyapeeth University will offer the candidates admission into its law courses on the basis of their performance in entrance test. Selected candidates will be granted admission into the New Law College, Pune. The common entrance test (CET) will be conducted separately for enrolment into LLB and LLM degree course. Candidates seeking admission into these courses can submit their applications in online mode. Main Highlights of BVP CET Law exam 2022
- There is no need to send hard copy of any document to the university until and unless asked for it.
- A valid email address and contact number should be provided by the candidates at the time of registration.
- Admit cards will be released only for those who submit their application successfully on time.
- For admission into LLM degree course, the candidates will also have to take part in group discussion, conducted on the same day as entrance exam.
- Admission at every stage of selection process is provisional and subject to fulfillment of eligibility.

For LLM entrance exam:

Group Discussion:
In addition to the entrance test, the LLM candidate must also appear for the group discussion round conducted on the same day as the entrance exam. The GD will carry a total of 60 marks and will be on research methodology and fundamentals of law.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for BVP CET Law 2022 for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses are given below:
- BA LLB/ BBA LLB: A pass in class 12th or equivalent examination with a minimum score of 45% in aggregate (40% for SC/ ST candidates) is required. The maximum age of the candidates should not be more than 20 years (22 years for OBC and SC/ ST candidates).
- LLB: The applicant should have passed the Bachelor’s Degree in any stream or equivalent from a recognized university and have obtained a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST candidates). The maximum age of the candidates should not be more than 30 years (35 years for OBC and SC/ ST candidates).
- LLM: The candidates should have obtained LLB degree of any university recognized by UGC with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for SC/ ST candidates) in order to be eligible.
BVP CET Law 2022 Application Form
The application form for BVP CET Law 2022 will be released on the official website of the university www.bvuniversity.edu.in. Candidates should note that they must make sure of their eligibility before they proceed towards application process.
- In the application form, the basic personal details of the candidates such as name, mobile number, gender, date of birth, etc will be asked.
- In addition to this, the academic details of the candidates related to their qualifying exam such as passing status, university name, etc will also be asked.
- Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature in the application form in scanned format.
- Details of the programme the candidate wish to apply for and choice for exam city also needs to be provided in the application form.
- The application form complete with all the details can then be submitted along with the prescribed fee.
- After successful submission, the candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form and keep it safe for future reference.
Application fee:
- The application fee for BVP CET law 2022 will be Rs. 1200/-.
- Candidates will be able to pay the application fee online using credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
Admit Card
- The admit card to appear in the law entrance test will be made available on the official website of the university.
- Candidates should download their admit card and take its printout to be carried to the exam center.
- A photo identity proof must also be carried along with the admit card while reporting for the exam.
- Any candidate without these documents will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
- Candidates must preserve the admit card till the complete process of admission is over.
Result
- The result of the entrance exam will be declared online on the official university’s website.
- Result of the LLB exam is expected to be announced in June 2022 and that of LLM exam in July 2022.
- After declaration of result, a merit list of the qualified candidates will be prepared by the authorities.
- The list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance exam.
- Counseling and rest process of admission will be conducted according to the candidates’ name in this list.
Counseling & Admission
- The counseling of the shortlisted candidates will be conducted as per the schedule communicated to them through the university website.
- At the time of counseling, the documents and eligibility criteria of the candidates will be verified.
- The candidates must carry all their certificates in original and two sets of photocopy while reporting for the counseling process.
- After successful verification, admission will be granted to the candidates.
- Admissions will be considered final after payment of tuition and other required academic fees.
