The Department of Technical Education (DTE), Rajasthan will be inviting the applications for admission in different engineering and non-engineering diploma courses offered by the polytechnic colleges in the state. Candidates can apply for Rajasthan Polytechnic 2022 by filling the online application form. Before heading over to the application form, they must ensure that the eligibility conditions laid down by the authority are met. Admission in engineering and non-engineering diploma programmes will strictly be based on the merit rank obtained by the candidates as per the merit list prepared by DTE. Shortlisted candidates will undergo the counselling process where a seat will be allotted to them based on their merit rank.

Rajasthan Polytechnic 2022- Highlights

• The application form for Rajasthan Polytechnic shall only be obtained through online mode. The authority won’t accept any printed form for submission in this regard.
• Candidates should fill and submit the form on or before the due date specified by the department to avoid inconvenience at the last moment.
• For admission, first preference will be given to the candidates who are domicile of Rajasthan and the seats are left vacant, those will be allocated to the candidates belonging to the other states.
• It is mandatory for the candidates to pay the requisite amount of application fee. The application fee is non-refundable.
• Candidates selected as per the merit list need to report to the nodal office to get their original documents verified.

To fill the application form for Rajasthan Polytechnic admission, candidates need to visit the official website of the DTE, Rajasthan. Applicants should possess a valid email id and phone number in order to register for the admission process. They need to keep their documents, scanned copy of photograph and signature handy while filling the form. Applicants should provide correct details in the application form. If the information given by the candidates is found be misleading then the candidature of such candidates will be canceled to the immediate effect. The form must be submitted on time along with the stated application fee failing which the applications will be rejected by the authority. Apart from the application form, candidates also need to fill the option form where they need to indicate their choice of preference of course and college in which they intend to get admission.

Details in the application form

The application form will bear the following details-

• Personal details: Name, email id, phone number, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, marital status, religion, address, domicile, bank details, gender, etc.
• Educational details: Class 10^th marks, percentage, appeared for supplementary/improvement.

Application fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs. 300/- as the application fee for Rajasthan polytechnic 2022. The fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances. Payment of the application fee can be made through online mode i.e. using credit card, debit card, net banking.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates can go through the eligibility criteria provided below to check if they can apply for Rajasthan Polytechnic 2022 admission or not-

Age limit: No such limit defined

• Engineering courses: Candidates should have passed class 10^th exam or its equivalent exam from a recognized board by securing at least 35% marks in aggregate. They should have passed individually in science and mathematics subject.
• Non-engineering courses: Candidates should have passed class 10^th exam or its equivalent with minimum 35% aggregate marks from a recognized board.

Merit list

• DTE will prepare a merit list of the candidates in order to shortlist them for admission and publish the provisional list on the official website.
• The list will be made keeping in mind the scores obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination i.e. class 10^th or equivalent.
• If there is any editing or changes required in the provisional list, then candidates can inform the authority before the date given for this purpose.
• The final merit list will be released after making the correction (if required) and candidates will be invited to attend the counselling procedure.

Result and counselling

• The result of Rajasthan Polytechnic 2022 will be announced on the official website of DTE, Rajasthan i.e. http://dte.rajasthan.gov.in/.
• Candidates will be allotted a seat as per the merit list published on the website.
• After the seat allotment, candidates need to report to the nodal center to get their original documents verified by the authority.
• For filling the vacant seats left after first allotment, the authority will conduct the second round of counselling.
• Once the documents are verified thoroughly, candidates are required to visit the college allotted to complete other formalities pertaining to admission.
