Uttarakhand Polytechnic 2022 notification released, the online application form  is now available from 20th January 2022, while candidates can obtain offline application from 25th January 2022 onwards. The Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee (UBTER) will be conducting Joint Entrance Examination, Polytechnic (JEEP) for selecting candidates for admission into polytechnic courses.  The entrance test is expected to be held in the month of April 2022 and will be conducted offline. Candidates of the Uttarakhand state or those who have passed their class 10^th/ 12^th exam (as applicable) here are only eligible to apply.

JEEP 2022 Major Highlights

• Candidates can apply for admission under different groups by submitting separate applications for each course.
• Submission of multiple applications for admission in the same course should be avoided.
• It is important that the candidates fulfill the eligibility requirements of the course they are applying for.
• Candidates must note that the score of the Uttarakhand Polytechnic 2022 exam will only be valid for the session 2022-23.
• The process of application, admit card, result and counseling will be completely online. The exam will be however conducted offline.

UK Polytechnic 2022 Exam Pattern

The overview of JEEP 2022 exam pattern is given below as:

• Mode of exam: Pen-and-paper based exam
• Duration of exam: 2 hours
• Marking scheme: 5 marks will be awarded for each correct answer
• Negative marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer

Uttarakhand Polytechnic Syllabus

Syllabus of the polytechnic entrance exam will comprise of the topics studied by the candidates in their qualifying exam, class 10^th or 12^th as applicable.

Uttarakhand Polytechnic Application Form 2022

Uttarakhand Polytechnic 2022 application form has been released online. The candidates will be able to fill and submit their application form by visiting the official website www.ubter.in or www.ubterjeep.in.

• Personal details such as name, father’s name, email id, mobile number, gender, date of birth, etc will be asked in the application form.
• Details of the qualifying exam such as passing year, marks obtained, etc will also be asked into the form.
• Candidates will also have to upload the scanned copies of their photograph and signature into the application form.
• After providing all the important details into the application form, the candidates can submit it online.
• For future reference, the candidates are suggested to keep a copy of the application form safely with them.

Application fee:

• Along with the application form, the candidates will also have to submit a prescribed amount of application fee.
• The application fee will be Rs. 800/- for general/ OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ ST candidates.
• Candidates will bale to pay their application fee in online mode using debit card/ credit card or net banking facility.

JEEP Eligibility Criteria

The following eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the candidates applying for Uttarakhand JEEP 2022:

Academic qualification:

• Diploma in Engineering/ Technology: The candidates should have passed their class 10^th exam with Mathematics and Science subjects and minimum aggregate marks of 35%.
• Diploma in Pharmacy: Those who have passed their class 12^th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics are eligible.
• Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology: A pass in class 12^th or equivalent exam with English as a subject and at least 35% marks in aggregate is necessary.
• Modern Office of Management Secretarial Practice: The applicants should have cleared their class 12^th exam with English and Hindi as subjects in either class 10^th or 12^th.
• PG Diploma in Computer Applications: Candidates with a graduation degree are eligible to apply.
• Textile Design/ Garment Technology/ Fashion Design: The candidates should have cleared their class 10^th or equivalent exam with minimum 35% marks. Only female candidates can apply.
• Lateral Entry in Diploma Engineering: A pass in class 12^th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or with vocation stream or 2-year ITI is required.

Admit Card

• Candidates will be able to download their admit card from the official website of UBTER.
• The applicants should download their admit card, take its printout and carry it to the exam center.
• In the admit card, the details related to the candidates and the exam (center, timing, etc) will be mentioned.
• Entry into the examination hall will only be provided to the candidates holding a valid admit card.
• The admit card should be kept safe till the complete process of admission is over.

Result

• The result of the entrance exam will be declared in online mode on the official UBTER website.
• It is expected that the results will be announced in the month of May 2022.
• Applicants can check their result and download their rank card using their roll number and date of birth.
• A merit list of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by them in the exam.
• Separate merit lists will be prepared for admission under different groups.

Counseling

• Counseling of the candidates will be held according to their names in the merit list as per the specified schedule.
• The counseling will be conducted in the computerized mode and the complete details will be provided on the official website and local newspapers.
• Candidates will be allowed to provide their choice for colleges at the time of counseling.
• Documents of the candidates will also be verified at the same time and after successful verification, admissions will be granted to them.
