UPSEE 2021: UPTU/AKTU Application Form, Exam Date, Syllabus

The UPSEE 2021 will be conducted by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh to offer admissions to the candidates in different undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Enrolment is granted in several colleges affiliated under this university. Courses are offered in the field of engineering, pharmacy, architecture, management, etc and separate entrance exam is conducted for each course. Depending on the paper, the mode of exam will be offline or online. Eligibility Criteria for UPSEE 2021

For admission in 1st year B.Tech./ B.Des./ B.Arch./ B. Pharm./ BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA/ MBA (Integrated)/ MCA (Integrated)

  • The candidates aspiring for B.Tech./ B.Pharm./ B.Des./ MCA (Integrated) should have passed intermediate exam of UP board or 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognized board/ university with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ ST candidates). The exam should be passed without grace in the compulsory as well as one optional subject.
  • For BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA/ MBA (Integrated), should have passed intermediate exam of UP board or 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognized board/ university with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ ST candidates).
  • Those applying for B.Arch must pass intermediate exam of UP board or 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognized board/ university or 3-year Diploma in Architecture with 50% marks in aggregate and pass without grace in the compulsory as well as one optional subject.

For admission to first year of MBA/ MCA

  • A candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of three years minimum duration from any recognized Indian University or its equivalent recognized by A.I.U securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ ST) marks in aggregate.
  • A pass in Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level is necessary for MCA aspirants.

For admission to second year (lateral entry) of B. Tech./ B. Pharm./ MCA

  • For B.Tech/B.Pharma, the applicants should have passed 3-year diploma in the relevant course from an institution located in UP with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
  • For MCA, 3-year BCA, B.Sc (IT/ Computer Science) degree with 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ ST) is required.

For admission to NRI Quota/ Foreign Nationals (FN)/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC) in first year

  • The applicant should have passed the qualifying examination outside India (considered equivalent to (10+2) examination by the Association of Indian Universities) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

UPSEE 2021 Application Form

Application form for UPSEE 2021 can be filled online only. Aadhaar card is necessary for filling the application form.

The candidates will have to provide personal details such as Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Domicile of parent, Communication details such as address, mobile phone number, email etc., Qualifying examination details, like subjects in the qualifying examination, marks obtained in qualifying examination etc and Choice of course, examination centre, etc.

Next, the candidates will have to choose a password for them, which along with the application number (generated after final form submission) will be used for further login.

After checking all the entries, click the declaration check box and then click on final submit button. The application number will be generated after submitting the form.

The candidates will then have to upload their photograph and signature in the application form. The documents to be uploaded should follow the following specifications:

Application fee:

After this, the candidates can make the fee submission via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/Wallets. The structure of the fee is given as:

  • For Male/ Transgender candidates of General and OBC category: Rs. 1300/-
  • For Female/ Physically Handicapped candidates of all categories/ SC/ ST candidates: Rs. 650/-

After fee payment, a confirmation page will be generated and the candidate should take printouts of this page.

Failed fee payment:

In case of failed transaction, the candidate will have to make the payment. If amount is debited during the failed attempt, it will be refunded back within 5 days. In case of no refund, a mail to helpdesk mentioning Application Number, Transaction Number, Date of Birth, and Aadhaar Number should be sent.

UPSEE 2021 Exam Pattern

The general pattern for the different papers conducted under UPSEE 2021 is given below:

Paper 4: 100 questions from Mathematics and Aesthetic Sensitivity and 2 questions to test drawing aptitude

Paper 5, 6, 7, 8: 75 questions

Paper 9, 10, 11: 100 questions

Language of the Paper All question papers for UG admissions (except Paper 4) will be in Hindi and English.

Part B of Paper 4 can be opted either in English or in Hindi.

UPSEE Syllabus 2021

Depending on the course, you select for UPSEE 2021 exam, syllabus will be different. The general syllabus for admissions to undergraduate courses in 1st year will follow the curriculum of 11th and 12th curriculum. The syllabus for postgraduate courses will covers the syllabus from the UG courses.

UPSEE Admit Card 2021

Candidates can download the admit card of UPSEE 2021 from the official website. the admit card will contain personal details like Name, category, gender, rural weightage, etc. and the details of the exam center allotted to the candidate. The details of the admit card must be checked and in case of any discrepancy, it must be reported to the concerned authority. If the applicant is not able to download the admit card, he/she should contact the student helpline.

UPSEE 2021 Result

The result for the UPSEE 2021 will be declared after the evaluation of the answer paper. The candidate can check their result from the official website. After the announcement of result, a separate merit list will also be prepared for each course. Merit position, score-card with total marks and marks obtained in each subject will be made available on website after the declaration of the result.

The candidates can get their answer sheets scrutinized within seven days of declaration of result at a charge of Rs. 5000/- per paper. An application for the same needs to be submitted in writing to the Registrar, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow (U.P.) 226031.

Tie-Breaker

The following criteria will be applied for tie-breaking:

The candidate with less number of incorrect questions will be given a higher rank. If this doesn’t work, the following is considered:

  • Tech./ B.Tech. (Bio-Tech.)/B.Pharm./ B.Des./ MCA (Integrated): Marks obtained in Mathematics/Biology, Physics, Chemistry respectively and then by age.
  • Arch.: Marks obtained in Drawing Aptitude, Mathematics & Aesthetics sensitivity respectively and then by age.
  • Tech. (Ag. Engg): Marks obtained in AG-I, AG-II, AG-III respectively and then by age.
  • BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA/ MBA/ MBA (Integrated)/ MCA/ Lateral entry: By age only

At last, the lowest application number will be placed at higher in the merit.

UPSEE Counselling 2021

The candidates whose name appears on the merit list will be invited to take part in the counseling process. The applicants will have to make choices for the college and preferred course at the time of counseling. Based on the choice made and the availability of seat, admissions will be offered to the candidates. The schedule for the counseling will be uploaded on the official website.

Admission Procedure for NRI candidates

Direct admissions will be granted to the candidates belonging to NRI category as per the instructions from Government of UP. However, applicants opting B.Arch. course under this category may have to appear in an Aptitude Test on the day of counselling.

Admission Procedure FN/ PIO/ CIWGC Candidates

The candidates from this category may be offered admissions as per the guidelines of the University, under the approval of AICTE. These applicants do not need to appear for the UPSEE 2021. Admissions in B.Arch. course are not granted to such candidates.
