TS LAWCET 2022: Application Form (starts from 6 Apr), Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Eligibility Criteria

TS LawcetTelangana State Law Common Entrance Test- 2022 or TS LAWCET 2022 exam will be conducted by the Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education. This exam will offer admissions to 3 years and 5 years regular LLB courses. The admissions will be granted in various law institutes across the state of Telangana. The application form for TS LAWCET 2022 exam is going to be available from 6th April 2022. The entrance exam will be held in the month of May 2022on 21st and 22nd July 2022. The aspiring candidates should note that the application process will be online and the applications submitted by post or any other offline medium will be rejected.

TS LAWCET Exam Pattern 2022

The exam pattern for the TS LAWCET 2022 will be as follows:

  • Mode of Exam: Online (Computer Based Test)
  • Number of Questions: 120
  • Type of Questions: Objective Type Multiple choice questions
  • Duration of Exam: 90 Minutes
  • Maximum Marks: 120
  • Marking scheme: Each question will carry 1 mark
  • Negative Marking: There is no provision for negative marking
  • Language of Exam: Questions will be asked in English, Urdu and Telugu Languages.

TS LAWCET Eligibility Criteria 2022

The candidates looking to appear for this exam need to clear the Eligibility criteria given below:

Nationality

  • Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for this exam.

Domicile

  • The applicant must satisfy the Local/Unreserved status requirement as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order, 1974.

Educational Qualification      

For 3 year LL.B Course

  • The candidates must possess a  graduation degree (in 10+2+3 pattern) with 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates)
  • In case any candidate does not have 45% marks in graduation but have a PG degree with 45% marks then he/she can apply for the TS LAWCET 2020 exam.

For 5 Year LL.B. Course

  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 exam with at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidates)

TS LAWCET Application Form 2022

The application form for TS LAWCET 2022 exam will be available in online mode through the official website i.e. http://lawcet.tsche.ac.in.

  • To start the application process, the candidates have to pay the application fee through an online method or via TS Online/ AP Online Center.
  • After successful application fee payment, the candidates have to fill the required educational, personal and contact details in the application form.
  • Along with the details, the candidates have to upload the scanned copies of recent passport size photograph and signature.
  • The size of a scanned photograph should not be more than 50 KB and the size of the scanned signature should not be more than 30 KB.
  • The registration number will be generated after the submission of application form.
  • The candidates should take a printout of submitted application form for future reference.

Application Fee

The application fee for the TS LAWCET 2022 exam will be as follows:

  • For General and OBC applicants: Rs. 800/-
  • For SC/ ST applicants: Rs. 500/-

Mode of Payment

  • The candidates can pay the application fee via online method using a credit card, debit card or internet banking.
  • The application fee can also be paid by cash through the TS Online/ AP Online Center.

TS LAWCET Admit Card 

  • The admit card will be available one week prior to the date of exam through the official website.
  • In order to download the admit card, the candidates have to enter their registration number, date of birth, and qualifying exam hall ticket number.
  • No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without a valid admit card.
  • The TS LAWCET 2022 Admit Card is an important document which should be kept safe till the admission process gets over.

TS LAWCET Result

  • After the commencement of exam, the authorities will release the provisional answer keys of the exam.
  • The candidates can submit their objection against the provisional answer keys.
  • After considering the objections, the university will declare the final result with the final answer keys.
  • Please note that there is no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking.
  • The answer sheet of the candidates will be preserved for 6 months after the declaration of result.

Counselling

  • The successful candidates will be required to take part in the counselling.
  • During counselling process, the allotment of seats will be processed.
  • The seats will be allotted on the basis of rank secured by the candidate in TS LAWCET exam.
  • The admission will be confirmed after the proper verification of documents.
