SNAP 2022: Symbiosis National Aptitude Test

SNAPCandidates who wish to get enrolled in the MBA and M.Sc programmes offered by Symbiosis International will have to clear Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) test. Interested candidates will have to register for the entrance test and for each program they wish to apply for. Application form for the same will be released in online mode tentatively in the month of August 2022. The selection process will include an online test followed by GE-PIWAT. SNAP 2022 Major Highlights

  • Any changes in the online application form (except name, date of birth, category and test city preferences) will be entertained only up to the last date of registration.
  • The Symbiosis Test Secretariat will authenticate the details of demand draft and will send you an email confirming the payment. Application process will be considered as complete only after that.
  • OCI/ PIO/ Foreign National/ NRI candidates (who have passed their graduation from foreign university) are exempted from appearing in SNAP.
  • NRI candidates who have passed their graduation from a university in India will have to appear in SNAP 2022.
  • A photo identity proof and admit card must be carried to the exam center or else candidates will not be allowed to take their exam.
  • Candidates reporting at the test centre has to undergo admit card and id proof verification, digital finger print scan and biometric verification.

    • Normal questions will carry one mark each
    • Special questions will carry two marks each
  • Negative marking: 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer (both normal and special questions).

Eligibility Criteria

The course-wise eligibility criteria for SNAP 2022 are provided below:

Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining the minimum criteria before admission.

MBA in Infrastructure Development and Management Candidates with B.Arch or BE/ B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering/ Agriculture Engineering/ Planning/ Civil Engineering/ Environment Engineering/ Water Resources/ Environment/ Chemical Engineering/ Oil & Paint Technology/ Plastic & Polymer Technology/ Petrochemical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Energy Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Mining Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering/ Fire & Safety Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/ Industrial Engineering/ Marine Engineering/ Metallurgy Engineering are eligible.
MBA in Business Analytics The candidates with a graduation degree in any stream scoring at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST candidates) or equivalent grade and a minimum of two years full time work experience after graduation are eligible.
MBA in Energy and Environment Those with BE/ B.Tech/ B.Arch or B.Sc in Environmental Science with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates) or equivalent grade are eligible.
MBA in Operations Management Applicants should have done BE/ B.Tech from a recognized university/ institute with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates).
MBA in Data Sciences & Data Analytics Candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university/ institute with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks in case of SC/ ST candidates).

Mathematics at 10+2 level is also mandatory.

* A candidate who has obtained the qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SNAP Application Form 2022

SNAP 2022 application form will be made available in online mode. Candidates will be able to fill and submit their application form by visiting the official website snaptest.org. Only those who fulfill the eligibility criteria should proceed with the application process.

  • Application form can be filled by providing basis personal and educational details such as name, gender, date of birth, email id, address, marks obtained in graduation, passing year, etc.
  • Scanned color passport size photograph (not older than 3 months) and signature of the candidate should also be uploaded in the application form.
  • Once all the information is entered in the application form, the candidates can finally submit it.
  • A certain amount of application fee will also be applicable along with the form.
  • After successful submission, the candidates should take a printout of the application form and keep it safe for further correspondence.

Application fee:

The entrance test or application fee for the entrance test will be Rs. 1750/-. Candidates can make payment of the application fee through payment gateway (using debit card/ credit card/ net banking) or through demand draft as well.

Programme Registration

After successful payment of entrance test fee, the candidates will also have to complete programme registration. A programme registration fee of Rs. 1000/- per program will also be required to complete the process. Mode of payment for the programme(s) will be the same as that for SNAP entrance exam.

Admit Card

  • Candidates who submit their application form and fee successfully will be able to download their admit card.
  • The admit card is expected to be released in the month of December 2022 on the official website of Symbiosis.
  • Admit card can be downloaded by the candidates using their registration details such as application number, password, etc.
  • After downloading, applicants should take a printout of the admit card to be carried to the exam center.
  • Applicants must note that they will not be allowed to appear for the exam in absence of a valid admit card.

Result & GE-PIWAT

  • The result of SNAP 2022 will be declared tentatively in the month of January 2023.
  • Candidates will be able to download their score card from the official website by using their SNAP id and password.
  • On the basis of their score, the candidates will be shortlisted for Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test.
  • A merit list of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of their overall performance in the online test and GE-PIWAT.
  • Final admissions will be granted to the candidates after payment of tuition and other fees and verification of documents and eligibility.
