NEHU PG Admission 2022: North Eastern Hill University (Shillong) is going to invite applications from interested and eligible candidates for admission to postgraduate courses such as M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, PhD, M.Phil, M.Ed, LLM, and M.Lib.Sc etc for the upcoming academic session i.e. 2022-23. NEHU PG Admission 2022 Important Dates (tentative)

Eligibility criteria

Interested candidates should have completed graduation/bachelor in the related subject or equivalent examination with minimum passing marks from recognized board/university.

In case of M.Ed. admission, candidates need to achieve no less than 50% marks equivalent grade in the following programmes: B.Ed, B.El.Ed, B.A. B.Ed, B.Sc, B.Ed , D.El.Ed.

Application Form: How to apply?

Interested and eligible candidates applying for PG admission in NEHU (Shillong Campus and Tura Campus), have to submit the online applications for the courses/programmes in which they looking for admission. Aspirants can obtain the application form online by visiting the official website at http://www.nehu.ac.in/. Applicants should note that, they have to pay Rs 220/- as necessary application fee. The payment can be made online by using Credit Card/ Debit Card/Net Banking.

Important points:

• Candidates can apply for only those courses which have been published in the official advertisement.
• Applicants can not apply for two or more full-time courses at one time.
• Submit the hard copy of online application form along with other documents to the concerned Head of Department before the due date.
• Before filling the application form, you have to write-up about 200 describing that why you’d like to pursue the selected course.
• Candidates are advised to ensure that all the details provided by you are correct before making payment of the requisite fee.

Selection Process

A merit list will be made on the basis of candidate’s score obtained in GATE and/or entrance examination conducted by concerned department. The allocation seats for different categories will be as follows:

• General (Open category): 30%
• For SC/ST candidates: 50%
• For physically challenged: 3%
