The MU OET 2022 will be conducted by the Manipal University to select candidates for admissions into its UG and PG courses. The admissions will be granted to the shortlisted candidates into different courses such as B.Tech, BA, B.Sc, MCA, MA, etc. The eligible candidates can submit their application form for admissions starting from 9th December 2021. The entrance exam will be conducted from April 2022 to May 2022 and will be held separately for different courses. MU OET 2022 Important Dates

MU OET Exam Application Form 2022

The MU OET application form 2022 will be made available in online mode on the official website of the university. The application form has been released on 9th December 2021. The last date for submitting the form will vary from course to course.

• The candidates will have to enter their basic personal and academic information into the application form.
• Scanned copies of photograph and signature should also be uploaded into the form.
• The candidate should take care while filling the form as to not leave any field as the incomplete form are liable for rejection.
• The duly filled-in application form can then be submitted along with the prescribed application fee before the last date.
• A copy of the submitted application form should be kept by the candidates for any future reference.

Application Fee

• The application fee will be Rs. 600/- and exam fee will be Rs. 1400/-, thus making a total of Rs. 2000/-. The application fee for foreign candidates will be Rs. 2500/-.
• The candidates can submit the application fee online via credit card/ debit card/ net banking.

MU OET Exam Pattern 2022

The pattern for certain exams conducted under MU OET 2022 is given below:

For B.Tech:

• Mode of exam: Online
• Exam duration: 150 minutes
• Number of questions: 200
• Type of questions: Objective type

For M.Tech:

• Mode of exam: Online
• Exam duration: 90 minutes
• Number of questions: 60
• Type of questions: Objective type
• Marking Scheme: 4 marks for each correct answer and -1 marks for each wrong answer

MU OET Syllabus 2022

The syllabus for the entrance test will vary according to the course. Overall, the syllabus for the undergraduate courses will be based on the topics studied at 12^th or equivalent level and for postgraduate courses, topics studied at the bachelor’s degree level.

Eligibility Criteria

The MU OET 2022 eligibility criteria for some courses are mentioned below:

Undergraduate courses:

• B.Tech: A pass in 10+2/ A Level/ IB/ American 12^th grade or equivalent with English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ any technical vocational subjects and minimum 50% marks in aggregate of Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects is required.
• BA in Media & Communication: The candidates should have passed 10+2/ A Level/ IB/ American 12^th grade or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 45% aggregate marks.
• B.Sc in Animation: Those who have cleared their 10+2/ A Level/ IB/ American 12^th grade or equivalent by scoring a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate are eligible.
• B.Pharm: The applicants should have passed their 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Biology with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Postgraduate courses:

• M.Sc in Clinical Embryology: Those candidates who have passed their B.Sc with Reproduction, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioscience or Physiology as one of the subjects scoring 60% aggregate marks in minimum can apply.
• MPT: A pass in BPT from a recognized University with minimum 50% aggregate marks is required. In addition to this, the candidate must also have completed their internship before commencement of classes.
• MCA: Those with a pass in BCA or B.Sc (CS/ IT) from a recognized university and at least 50% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply.
• M.Tech: The applicants should have passed their BE/ B.Tech/ AMIE or an equivalent degree in the relevant branch with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Admit Card

• The candidates will first have to book slot for appearing in the entrance test. The slot booking will be done in online mode through the Online Test Booking System.
• After successful booking of slot, a confirmation regarding the same will be sent to the registered email of the candidates.
• The candidates will be then able to download their MU OET 2022 admit card.
• It is mandatory for the candidates to carry their admit card to the exam center or else they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

Result

• The result of the entrance test is expected to be declared in the month of June 2022 and will be published on the university’s website.
• Based on the marks obtained, merit list of the qualified candidates will be prepared. For different courses, separate merit list will be prepared.
• The list will be prepared in the order of ranking and the candidates will be invited for counseling process as per the list.

Counselling

• The university will conduct the counseling of the selected candidates where they will be able to provide choice for course specialization and college.
• The original documents of the candidates will also be verified at the time of counseling.
• The details of the counseling process- venue and schedule will be communicated through the official website.
• After successful counseling, the candidates will be allotted seats according to their rank and choice.
