KIITEE 2022: Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Admission

An entrance exam KIITEE 2022 will be conducted by Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology to select candidates for admission into its various courses. Enrolment will be offered in B.Tech, M.Tech, LLB, LLM, B.Sc, M.Sc and several other courses on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the entrance exam. Major Highlights for KITEE 2022

  • Separate entrance exams will be conducted for admission into different courses.
  • Application form, admit card, result, etc will only be released in online mode.
  • Candidates must ensure their eligibility before applying for a certain course.
  • GATE qualified candidates with score above 400 need not sit in the entrance exam.
  • Candidate should be a registered Nurse or Registered midwife or equivalent with any state Nursing Registration Council for M.Sc Nursing.

KIITEE Syllabus 2022

Syllabus for different courses under KIITEE exam is given below:

For B.Tech/ Biotechnology-Dual Degree & B.Sc Nursing:

  • Physics: Units and Measurement, Laws of Motion, Waves, Oscillation, Gravitation, Heat & Thermodynamics, etc
  • Chemistry: Some Basic Concepts, States of Matter, Atomic Structure, Solutions, Heavy Metals, Organic Compounds, etc
  • Mathematics: Sets, Relations and Functions, Matrices & Determinants, Quadratic Equations, Permutations-Combinations, etc
  • Biology (for Biotechnology and B.Sc Nursing): Diversity in Living World, Genetics & Evolution, Ecology and Environment, etc

For B.Tech (Lateral Entry):

  • Mathematics: Ordinary Differential Equation, Laplace Transform, Matrix, Vectors, Series Method and Fourier Series
  • Engineering Mechanics: Statics, Dynamics and Work & Energy

KIITEE 2022 Application Form

The application form for the KIITEE 2022 will be released online on the official website kiitee.ac.in or kiit.ac.in. Interested candidates are suggested to fill and submit their application on or before the last date.

  • To fill the application form, the candidates will have to provide their personal and educational details.
  • Address details, exam center choice, etc will also be asked in the application form.
  • Scanned copies of candidates’ photograph and signature will also be uploaded in the application.
  • Once all the information are entered correctly, the candidates can submit their form online.
  • A hard copy of the application form should be taken and kept safe for future reference.

Note: There will be no application fee for KIITEE.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for KIITEE 2022 are given as:

For undergraduate courses:

  • B.Tech and B.Tech+ M.Tech (Biotechnology): A pass in class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and an aggregate of 60% marks is required. Biology or Biotechnology in place of Mathematics is allowed for B.Tech+ M.Tech (Biotechnology) course.
  • B.Tech lateral entry: 3-year diploma in engineering with at least 60% marks is necessary.
  • B.Tech in Architecture: The candidates should have passed their class 12th exam securing minimum 60% marks with Mathematics as a subject and have also qualified NATA.
  • B.Sc Nursing: Those with a pass in class 12th exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and minimum aggregate score of 45% are eligible.
  • BA LLB/ B.Sc LLB/ BBA LLB: Applicants should have cleared their class 12th in any stream exam with 45% aggregate marks.
  • BBA: Pass in 10+2 with at least 50% marks and having Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/ Economics/ Statistics as one of the subjects is required.
  • BCA: The candidates should have passed 10+2 exam with at least 50% marks having Mathematics as one of the subjects.
  • Bachelor of Design (Fashion/ Textile)/ Film & Television Production and Master of Mass Communication (Integrated): Candidates should have cleared their class 12th exam in any stream exam with 50% marks in aggregate.

For postgraduate courses:

  • MCA: Candidates with a graduate degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks and Mathematics as a subject either at graduation or class 12th level is required.
  • MCA lateral entry: Those who have done BCA, B.Sc (IT/ Computer Science/ IST/ ITM) with a minimum 50% marks are eligible.
  • MTech: Candidates should have done BE/ B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc (Computer/ IT) or equivalent degree with first class.
  • MSc Nursing: Pass in B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc Hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks is required.
  • MSc (Biotechnology/ Applied Microbiology): The candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science/ Agriculture/ Pharmacy/ Veterinary/ Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine (MBBS/ BDS) with at least 55% marks.
  • LLM: Applicants holding a BA LLB/BBA LLB/B.Sc LLB/BL degree scoring at least 55% of marks in aggregate are eligible.
  • Master of Public Health/ Hospital Administration: Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in any Health Science discipline (MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BNYS/ BPT/ B.Sc Nursing (Basic or Post Basic)/ B.Pharm) with at least 50% aggregate marks. Those with bachelor degree in Arts/ Commerce/ Science/ Law can apply for Hospital Administration.
  • Integrated Dual Degree M.Sc & Ph.D (Applied Physics/ Applied Chemistry/ Mathematics and Data Sciences):Sc/ BE/ B.Tech or any other bachelor’s degree with Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics with at least 60% marks is required.
  • MA (Yoga Therapy): Candidates with a graduation degree in any discipline are eligible.

For Ph.D:

  • Tech/ ME/ MCA/ MBA or equivalent with minimum 60% marks or M.Sc/ MA/ M.Com/ LLM or equivalent with minimum of 55% marks is required.

Admit Card

  • The admit card for the entrance test will be issued online on the website of the institute.
  • Applicants should download their admit card, take its printout and carry it to the exam center.
  • Candidates who are not able to download their admit card within the given time period should contact the institute within the given time limit.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall, in case he/she does not carry a valid admit card.
  • Important details of the exam such as its timing and center will be mentioned on the admit card itself.

Result

  • The candidates can check the entrance test result by visiting the official website of KIIT using their application number.
  • Qualified candidates will also be able to download their rank card from the website. The institute will also send the rank cad to the candidates.
  • Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the test, merit lists will be drawn. Separate lists will be prepared for admission into different courses.
  • Counseling and admission procedure will be carried out on the basis of their names in the merit list.

Counseling

  • The complete details of the counseling process will be communicated to the candidates after declaration of result.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend the counseling process as per the specified schedule.
  • At the time of counseling, candidates will be asked to provide their choice for course and document verification will also be done.
  • Seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their choice, ranking and seat availability.
  • Candidates after getting their documents verified successfully will then be considered for final admission.

Candidates reporting for counseling are required to carry the following documents in original and photocopy along with them:

  • Admit card and rank card of KIITEE
  • Class 10th pass certificate
  • Class 12th mark sheet and pass certificate
  • Graduation mark sheets and pass certificate (for MCA, MCA (LE), M.Sc. (Biotechnology/ Applied Microbiology) candidates)
  • Diploma pass certificate and mark sheets (for Lateral Entry candidates)
  • Qualifying degree certificate (For M.Tech/ LLM/ Ph.D candidates)
  • Relevant certificate issued by the competent authority, indicating the reservation criteria claimed by the candidate (if applicable)
  • GATE score card in case of qualified candidates (for M.Tech)
  • Demand draft of the required fee
