KEAM 2022: Application Form (Available), Exam Date (on 26 June), Exam Pattern

keamTo provide the candidates’ admissions into the different colleges of the state of Kerala, KEAM 2022 will be conducted. Admissions will be offered into the fields of engineering, pharmacy, medical, Unani medicine, etc. For selecting the candidates for courses other than MBBS, BDS and BSMS (for which admission will be given on the basis of NEET), the entrance exam will be conducted. The candidates can apply for KEAM 2022 in online mode from 6th April 2022.

Eligibility Criteria for KEAM 2022

The course-wise eligibility criteria that must be fulfilled by the KEAM aspirants are given below:

Age: The minimum age of the candidates should be 17 years as on the 31st December 2022.

Nationality: candidates of Indian nationality, PIO and OCI candidates are eligible for admissions.

Academic criteria:

  • For BE/ B.Tech courses: A pass in Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or any other equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% (40% for Management Quota seats in Private/ Government Controlled Self-Financing Colleges) aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biology is required. At least 50% marks in Mathematics are also required individually.
  • For B.Pharma: The applicants who have passed their Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala (or equivalent) with 50% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics can apply. 50% marks in Biology/ Mathematics individually is also required.
  • For B.Arch: The candidates should have passed their class 12th exam/ 3-year diploma/ International Baccalaureate Diploma with Mathematics as a subject and at least 50% marks are eligible. A valid NATA 2022 score is also compulsory.
  • For B.V.Sc. & AH: Those who have passed their Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology can apply.
  • For BUMS: A pass in Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or equivalent with 50% marks in Biology and 50% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology is required. A pass in Urdu/ Arabic/ Persian in class 10th or in the test of Urdu conducted by the University/ Board/ Registered Society authorized by the Government is also required.
  • For BAMS/ BHMS/ B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture/ Forestry/ B.F.Sc: The applicants should have passed their Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 50% marks in Biology individually.
  • For MBBS, BDS and BSMS: A pass in Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or equivalent with 50% marks in Biology and 50% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology is required. Additionally, a valid NEET 2022 score card is also required.

KEAM Application Form 2022

The application form for KEAM 2022 has been released on the official website of CEE cee.kerala.gov.in on 6th April 2022. The candidates can fill only their application form in online mode. However, the submission must be done in both online and offline mode.

  • To fill the form, the candidates will have to provide details such as name, date of birth, gender, qualifying exam passing year, board name, mobile number, email id, course of study, exam center choice, etc.
  • Scanned copy of photograph and signature will also be uploaded in the application form.
  • Care must be taken to provide only true and correct details into the application form as incorrect form are liable for rejection.
  • After provide the details in the application form, the candidates will have to submit it online.
  • After that, a printout of the application form should be taken, a photograph same as the one uploaded should be pasted on it and should be sent to the office along with the important certificates attested by gazetted officers.
  • For one or even more than one course, only one application should be submitted.
  • A copy of the form should be kept by the candidates in case of further reference.

Application fee:

  • The application fee payment can be done by net banking/ debit card/ credit card/ e-Challan.
  • ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
  • Candidates who want Dubai as their exam center will have to submit an additional fee of Rs. 12000/-. The additional fee can be submitted online or by e-Challan (if payment is made in India).

Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for KEAM 2022 is given here:

KEAM 2022 Admit Card

  • The candidates will be able to download their admit card from the official CEE website cee.kerala.gov.in using their application number and date of birth.
  • The candidates should carefully check the entries of the admit card and any discrepancy, if found, should be corrected before the exam.
  • The candidates must take a printout of the admit card along with them to the exam center.
  • It is important to keep the admit card safe until the admission process is over.

KEAM 2022 Answer Key

The concerned authority will release answer key for candidates who have appeared in the exam. The answer key is released after few days of the completion of the exam. It is likely to release in the 2nd week of May 2022.

KEAM 2022 answer key includes accurate answers of all those questions which are asked in the exam. With the help of answer key, candidates can easily predict the score they are going to achieve in the exam.

Result

  • The result of the entrance exam conducted for admissions will be released on the official CEE website and any other website as notified.
  • The result is expected to be released in the month of May 2022.
  • Based on the marks scored in the entrance exam + certain other factors, a merit list of the qualified candidates will be prepared.
  • For admissions into different courses, separate merit lists will be prepared.

Centralised Allotment Process

  • To provide the selected candidates admissions into their desired courses, centralised allotment will be done.
  • The allotment will be done strictly according to the merit of the candidates and the choice made by them.
  • The candidates who are allotted a seat will have to report to the allotted institute and complete the formalities of admission.
