Candidates interested in pursuing engineering and architecture course from Jamia Milia Islamia University need to apply for admission through the JEE Main scores obtained by them. JMI EEE 2022 Highlights

• The application form for JMI EEE will only be available online. No printed applications will be provided by the University for Submission Purpose.
• Candidates need to submit the application form on time to avoid last-minute rush or technical problems.
• It is mandatory for the applicants to possess a valid email id and phone number in order to apply for the admission.
• Students interested in pursuing B.Tech from JMI need to appear for Paper-I of JEE Main and both Paper-I and Paper-II for admission in B.Arch.
• Admission in the said programmes will strictly be done according to the JEE Main scores obtained by the students.
• Students applying at JMI have to submit 8 digits JEE Main 2022 application number in the online form issued by NTA after submission of form.

JMI Application form 2022

To fill the application form for JMI EEE, candidates need to visit the official website of JMI i.e. www.jmi.ucanapply.com. Only one application form has to be submitted by a candidate for admission purpose. Students need to keep the scanned copy of photograph and signature handy. The application form will bear the details such as- name, religion, gender, category, JEE Main score, educational details, personal details etc.

The details provided by the candidates should be correct and match the official records. In case the information given by the students is found to be misleading or incorrect, then such candidates won’t be considered for admission. Applicants need not send the hardcopy of the application form to the authority. Incomplete applications or those received without the application fee will be rejected by the authority.

Application fee

Students are required to pay Rs. 550/- (bank charges included) as the application fee. The fee can be paid through credit card, debit card and net banking. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions laid down by the authority in order to be eligible for admission in JMI University-

Age criteria: The age of the candidates should be at least 17 years old as on 31^st December 2022.

For B.Tech

• Candidates should have passed class 12^th exam/ intermediate or its equivalent from a recognized board with PCM subject group. They should have secured at least 55% aggregate marks in PCM.
• Students who have completed diploma course in engineering from a recognized university/ institute with minimum 55% mars in aggregate are also eligible to apply.

For B.Arch

• Applicants should have passed class 12^th exam with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subject taken together.
• Those who have completed 3 years of diploma with 50% aggregate marks from a recognized institute/university can also apply.

Result and merit list

• The result of JMI EEE 2022 can be checked from the official website of the university.
• The authority will prepare a merit list of the candidates based on their JEE Main scores.
• Shortlisted candidates will be then called for documents verification and payment of the admission fee at the university premises.
• Applicants are required to carry their original documents and their photocopies at the time of admission.

Selection procedure

The selection procedure for admission in B.Tech and B.Arch programme offered by JMI revolves around the scores secured by the students in JEE Main exam. Candidates need to appear for JEE Main Paper-I/ Paper-II as per their preference of course and then fill the application form for JMI EEE 2022.
