JEE Advanced 2021: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Dates

JEE Advanced 2021: It is the second stage examination of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) which conducts for offering admission in various Bachelor’s degree, Integrated or Dual Degree courses in Engineering, Architecture, Science,  or Pharmaceuticals in IITs and ISM.

The seven zonal Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) will conduct JEE Advanced 2021 under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB). The JEE Advanced 2021 will be organized probably in the month of May 2021.

Interested candidates should fill and submit their JEE Advanced 2021 Online application form before the last date. The applications for the same will open for both Indian candidates as well as foreign nationals.

IIT Kharagpur will organize JEE Advanced in 2021.

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2021

Candidates, first ensure their IIT JEE eligibility criteria before applying:

  • The aspirants must have qualified JEE Mains examination with obtaining minimum cut-off marks.
  • Candidate should have obtained no less than 75% marks (65% marks for SC/ST/PwD category) in 12th examination or equivalent class.
  • The applicant should possess the age on or after October 1, 1993. There is 5 years age relaxation for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
  • The candidates can appear for JEE Advanced maximum 2- times in a consecutive year.
  • The applicant who already confirmed his/her seat in IIT or ISM but not yet joined the institute then he/she will not be able to apply.

JEE Advanced 2021 Registration Process

In order to appear in the exam, candidates have to first register themselves. They can complete the process of registration online from the official website of JEE Advanced. The registration process will commence most probably in the month of April 2021.

Before applying, the applicants have to create their account so that they can do the registration process and then after they can fill the application form. Candidates are recommended to preserve the login details till the admission over.

 AAT 2021 (Architecture Aptitude Test)

The B.Arch aspirants are needed to qualify AAT examination. Candidates, who qualify JEE Advanced 2021, will only eligible to apply for the test. In order to appear in the AAT, the interested candidates should register themselves online from the official website of JEE Advanced. AAT is a single paper of three hours duration. The candidates scoring above the cut off marks will be considered as qualified for the AAT. The admission of candidate is done on the basis of their rank secured in JEE Advanced 2021.

Admit card

The admit card release probably in the month of May 2021. Applicants can download their admit card from the online portal of JEE Advanced. Candidates should bring their admit card along with one original id proof while appearing in the examination center on the day of exam.

Answer keys

The authority will display the answer keys of both the papers on the official portal of JEE Advanced probably in the month of May 2019. The candidates can cross check their answer with the official JEE Advanced 2021 answer key from the official portal.

Result

The result of JEE Advanced will announce most probably in the month of June 2021. The applicants can check their All India Rank (AIR) after the official announcement of result from the JEE Advanced website.

Counseling

The admission of candidates under the seats provided by IITs, NITs, ISM, and other Govt. Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) will be made on the basis of centralizes counselling. Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will handle the counseling process. Shortlisted candidates are needed to attend the joint seat allocation process for the allotment of seats as per the scheduled date.
