Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants should have completed qualifying courses or equivalent program from a university or institution recognized by UGC.
• Eligibility for Deputed applicants

The applicants must have a Bachelor degree in any subject and minimum 1 year’s experience as a regular salaried employee in a recognized library / information center.

• Eligibility for applicants having Certificate in Library & Information Science

The applicants must have Bachelor’s degree in any subject along with a certificate in Library & Information Science from a recognized University/Institution scoring minimum 60% (45% for SC/ST and 55% for PD applicants).

• Eligibility for other applicants

The applicants who have Hons./Master’s degree in any subject or equivalent degree from a recognized institution scoring minimum 50% along with 45% in 12^th standard or equivalent exam, can also apply for Jadavpur University BLISc Admission 2024.

Selection Procedure

The eligible applicants will be selected for Jadavpur University BLISc Admission on the basis of merit list calculated through academic results including result of certificate in Library & Information Science and experience of library work.
