JAC Delhi 2022 Registration Date, Eligibility, Important Documents

jac delhiEnrolment to the B.Tech and B.Arch courses offered by DTU, NSIT, IGDTUW and IIIT-D will be given on the basis of counseling and admission process, JAC Delhi 2022. Admission will be granted to the candidates on the basis of their ranking in the JEE Main exam 2022. Candidates who wish to be considered for the admission process need to submit their application form. The application form will be released in online mode hopefully in the month of June 2022. Major Highlights of JAC Delhi 2022

  • A candidate passing the qualifying exam from a recognized institute located within Delhi will be considered for Delhi Region. Rest will be considered as Outside Delhi Region candidates.
  • After successful fee payment, if a candidate does not fill the online registration form, he/she will not be considered for any seat allotment.
  • The provisional seat allotment will be based solely on the All India Rank (CRL) of the candidate in the JEE (Main) 2022.
  • The choices filled by the candidates cannot be changed until spot round.
  • After freezing, allotted branch or institute cannot be reverted and will be treated as final.

Eligibility Criteria

Following eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the candidates applying for JAC Delhi 2022:

BE/ B.Tech Course at NSIT, IGDTUW and DTU

The candidates should have passed class 12th or equivalent exam securing at least 60% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. A pass in each subjects individually and English as a subject at 12th level (Core or Elective) along with a valid JEE Main 2022 rank (Paper 1) is also required.

B.Tech Course at IIIT-D

Those with minimum 80% marks in the aggregate of best five subjects including Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and 80% or more in Mathematics in class 12th and a valid JEE Main 2022 rank (Paper 1) are eligible.

B.Arch Course at IGDTUW

Applicants who have cleared their class 12th or equivalent exam with Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects and secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate and hold a valid JEE Main 2022 rank (Paper 2) are eligible.

JAC Delhi 2022 Registration Process

Interested candidates will be able to fill their registration form by visiting the official website www.jacdelhi.nic.in. The first step towards the online registration process will be the payment of registration-cum-counseling fee.

  • After successful fee payment, candidates are required to again visit the JAC website and fill online registration form.
  • In the registration form, the candidates will have to provide their basic details such as name, date of birth, nationality, etc.
  • Communication details like phone number and email address of the candidates will also be asked in the registration form.
  • The JEE Main 2022 roll number will be the user ID and the candidate will have to choose a password of their choice for subsequent logins.
  • After providing all the required information in the registration form, the candidates can submit it online.
  • A printout of the filled and submitted form should be taken by the candidates and get attested by guardian / parents and self.
  • The attested printout must be kept safe as it will be required for submission at the time of admission.

Registration fee:

  • The registration-cum-counseling fee for JAC Delhi 2022 will be Rs. 1500/-.
  • Payment of the registration fee can be done online using credit card/ debit card or net banking facility.

Choice Filling

  • As per the candidate’s eligibility, information relating to available seat in different institutes and branches will be displayed.
  • All the registered candidates will be able to exercise their choices of institute and branch in order of preference.
  • Candidates are advised to provide as many choices as possible so as to avoid any disappointment.
  • After providing the choices, the candidates are required to lock the choices and take a printout of the same.
  • Choices filled by the candidates will be locked automatically after the registration period is over.
  • No change in the choices made will be possible after locking.

Result

  • After the choice locking is done, seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their merit in JEE Main and choice provided.
  • The result of the seat allotment will be published and displayed on the official website.
  • The selected candidates can take printout of the provisional seat allotment letter after logging into their account.

Admission Procedure

  • After seats are allotted, the candidates will have to submit the prescribed admission fee either by online mode or through SBI e-challan.
  • Candidates are then required to report for admission at allotted institute as per the specified schedule along with admission fee payment receipt and the original documents.
  • Those who fail to report for admission within the given time limit will not be considered in subsequent online rounds of counseling except the spot round.
  • Seats allotted to the candidates can be upgraded in the subsequent rounds of counseling as per their preference, ranking and availability of seats.
  • A candidate, who has already been admitted and gets upgraded in next round of counseling, is not required to report at the upgraded institute.
  • In case the candidates do not want to be considered for up-gradation, they can submit online freezing request through official website.

Important Documents

The following documents must be carried by the candidates at the time of reporting for admissions:

  • Receipt of the admission fee payment
  • Registration form duly signed by guardian/ parent and candidate
  • Printout of filled choices (printed after closing of registration)
  • Two passport size color photograph
  • Printout of the admit card & rank card of JEE Main 2022
  • Marks sheet of Class XII or equivalent exam
  • Printout out of seat allotment letter
  • Class X or equivalent exam certificate as a proof of date of birth
  • Reserved category certificates
  • Medical fitness certificate or PD sub-category certificates
