IBSAT 2022 will be organized by the IFCAI Business School to select the candidates for admission into its management and PhD programmes. Application form for the admission process will be released in online mode. The application form is expected to be released in the month of July 2022. Candidates, before applying for the admission test, must make sure that they meet the required eligibility criteria. Major Highlights IBSAT 2022

• IBS Alumni/ M.Phil Degree holders/ UGC Net qualified candidates are exempted from IBSAT for PhD admission.
• Candidates with valid GMAT/ CAT/ NMAT scores need not appear for IBSAT management test.
• The marks of the online exam will not be disclosed as it is only a pre-requisite for appearing in the selection process.
• The applicants will be able to change the dates allotted to them for appearing in the selection process by submitting a request for the same.
• For this, the candidates can send an email to IBS giving 3 alternative dates between the given selection schedule.

Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for IBSAT 2022 is given below:

• Mode of the exam: Online
• Duration of the exam: 2 hours
• Type of Questions: Multiple-choice questions
• Important topics: Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Data Adequacy, Vocabulary, Analytical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria for IBSAT 2022:

For 2 year Management Program:

• The candidates who have passed their bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with medium of instructions as English can apply.
• Along with this, a minimum of 50% marks in graduation is also required in order to be eligible for the admission test.
• All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of education (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).
• Those in the final year of their bachelor’s degree course can also apply for IBSAT.

For PhD Program:

• All applicants should have completed a minimum of 17 years of regular education (on 10+2+3+2 or 10+2+4+2 basis).
• Applicants who have completed their graduation/ Post graduation on one time sitting basis or on part time, distance mode or online mode are not eligible for PhD program of IBS Hyderabad.

For PhD Program in Management:

• Graduation in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks and medium of instruction as English is required.
• In addition to this, post graduation in Management (full-time) with specialization in Marketing/ Finance/ Human Resource Management/ Operations from a recognized University with at least 55% or
• Post graduation (full-time) in Economics, Commerce, Psychology, Statistics, Sociology, Public Administration, Mathematics or allied discipline from a recognized university in India or abroad with 55% minimum aggregate marks is required. Such candidates are required to undertake the first year MBA courses as a prerequisite to continue in the PhD Program.
• Those with a professional qualification like CFA/ CA/ CWA/ CS with minimum 55% marks are also eligible.

For PhD Program in Economics:

• Applicants who have completed their graduation with 50% marks and above and have done post graduation in Economics or allied discipline with at least 55% marks can apply.

Note:

• Applicants, who have not completed their graduation and/ or post graduation with English as a medium of instructions, will have to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score.

IBSAT Application Form 2022

• The candidates will be able to apply for IBSAT 2022 in online mode. Application form for the same will be made available on the official website www.ibsindia.org.
• To fill the application form, the candidates will have to provide their application number and password.
• To receive these login credentials, the candidates will have to make payment of the application fee.
• Payment of application fee can be done online using debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
• Apart from this, the candidates can purchase the login credentials and information bulletin by paying the requisite application fee in cash.
• For fee payment in cash, the candidates will have to visit the local IBS marketing branches.
• Now, the candidates can fill the application form providing their basic personal, academic, communication and other details.
• Candidates will also have to upload their photograph and signature in scanned format in the application form.
• The applicants to wish to apply for IBS admission on the basis of GMAT/ CAT/ NMAT scores will have to upload the specific score card as well.
• After providing all the required information into the form, the candidates can submit it online.

Admit Card

• Successfully registered candidates will have to book slot for exam in order to download their admit card.
• During slot booking, the candidates will have to provide preferred exam date and time.
• After completing the slot booking, the candidates will be able to download their admit card.
• Candidates should download their admit card and take its printout to be carried to the exam center.
• The admit card will only be published online and will not be sent through any other means.

Result & Selection

• Result of the IBSAT 2022 exam will be declared online on the official website www.ibsindia.org.
• Candidates will be able to check their result using their application number and password.
• Qualified candidates will be eligible to take part in selection process which will consist of group discussion and personal interview rounds.
• Candidates reporting for GD-PI must carry with them all their important documents for verification purpose.
• The final selection is based on past academic record and performance of the candidates in group discussion and personal interview.
• Finally selected candidates will have to get their documents verified before they are given admissions.
