Eligibility Criteria

All the interested candidates are advised to read the eligibility conditions carefully and ensure that they are satisfying the prescribed eligibility criteria before applying for admission. The eligibility criteria of Gauhati University BA LLB (Hons) and LLB admission 2022 are mentioned below:

Eligibility for 5-year Integrated B.A., LL.B (Hons)

• Applicants, who want admission to B.A.LL.B (Hons) programme, must have done the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or an equivalent qualification from recognized Board.
• They must pass the qualifying examination with no less than 45% marks (40% marks in case of applicants from ST/ SC/OBC/MOBC category).

Eligibility for three -year LL.B course

• For 3- yr LL.B admission, candidates are needed to pass graduation in any stream from Gauhati University or any other recognized University.
• Applicants must have passed the qualifying examination with no less than 45% (40% in case of candidates from SC/ST and OBC/MOBC category)

The payment of applicable fee can also be made through Bank Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Gauhati University and payable at State Bank of India (SBI) or make online payment at HDFC Bank.
