DU Admission 2022 (Admissions through CUCET): Application Form, Date, Eligibility, Exam Pattern
DU 2022: The University of Delhi will offer the selected candidates admissions into its UG and PG courses. The admissions in some courses will be done on the basis of merit and for others, entrance exam will be conducted. The interested and eligible candidates can apply for the admissions in online mode. Applications for UG admissions will be released in May 2022 and for PG admissions in June 2022. The candidates can find the details of the DU Admission 2022 from this post.

DU Entrance Exam Pattern 2022
For UG Admission
- Duration of exam: 2 hours
- Number of questions: 100
- Type of questions: Multiple-choice questions
- Marking scheme: 4 marks will be given for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer
- Important topics: Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General English and Business and General Awareness
For PG Admission
- Mode of exam: Offline (OMR based)
- Duration of exam: 2 hours
- Type of questions: Multiple-choice questions (short answer questions will be included in some foreign language entrance exam)
Application Form for Delhi University Admission 2022
The DU Admission 2022 application form will be released in online mode and the candidates can fill it from the portal available on the official website www.du.ac.in.
- To fill the application form, the candidates will have to provide their personal and educational details.
- Scanned copies of the important documents will also be uploaded into the form.
- The fields marked with an asterisk will be mandatory to fill.
- The candidates will also have to provide the choice for colleges in the order of preference at the time of filling the application.
- The candidates will be eligible for admissions into different colleges of DU just by filling a single application form.
- The candidates must take care not to make any error in the application form. However, any error can be edited by the candidates by logging into their account, unless they have submitted the application fee.
- No editing can be done in the name of the applicant, date of birth, gender and e-mail fields.
Application fee:
- The candidates will have to submit application fee to complete the application process.
- The fee payment can be done in online mode using credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
- The application fee once paid will not be refunded.

DU Admission Eligibility Criteria 2022
The DU Admission 2022 eligibility criteria for different courses are mentioned below:
For UG Admission
- B.Voc: The candidates should have passed class 12th or equivalent with an aggregate of 40% marks.
- B.Com (Hons.): A pass in class 12th with an aggregate of 45% marks and Mathematics/ Business Mathematics as mandatory subjects is required.
- B.Sc (Hons.) in Mathematics/ Statistics: Those who have passed class 12th exam with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks and 50% marks in Mathematics are eligible.
- B.Sc (Hons.) in Physics/ Chemistry/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Polymer Science: The candidates should have cleared their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 55% aggregate marks and 50% in any one compulsory language.
- BA (Hons.) Business Economics, Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS), and Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) (BBA (FIA)): A pass in class 12th with 60% marks in aggregate of English, Mathematics and any two mandatory subjects is required.
For PG Admission
- B.Ed in Special Education: Women Candidates with at least 50% either in Bachelor’s and/or in the Master’s Degree in Science/ Social Science/ Humanities/ Commerce or those with BE/ B.Tech with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or equivalent are eligible.
- LL.B: Those with a graduate/ postgraduate degree from a recognized university with 50% marks for unreserved candidates, 45% marks for the OBC and 40% marks for the SC/ST can apply.
- MA Buddhist Studies: The applicants with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any subject from recognized university with 40% marks in aggregate are eligible.
- MA /M.Sc in Mathematics: Bachelor degree in any subject with Mathematics and 50% aggregate marks is required to appear in entrance test. Those with BA (Hons)/ B.Sc (Hons.) degree in Mathematics from DU and 60% marks in aggregate will be offered admission on merit basis.
- MCA: Bachelor degree (10+2+3 Scheme) from DU with Mathematical Sciences or an equivalent degree is mandatory.
DU Entrance Exam Admit Card
- The admit card for the entrance exam will be released in online registration account of the candidates.
- The candidates should download the admit card and take its printout to be carried to the exam center.
- A valid identity proof is also mandatory to be carried along with the admit card.
- The admit card will contain the important details of the candidate and the exam center.
- Any candidate not carrying the admit card or identity proof will not be allowed entry in the exam hall.
Result and Counseling
- The result for the entrance exam conducted for Delhi University Admission 2022 will be released on the official website.
- Those who appear successfully in the exam will be able to check their result using their roll number, date of birth, etc.
- A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks in entrance exam and counseling/ seat allotment of the candidates will be held on the basis of the list.
- For the courses for which no entrance exam is conducted, merit list will be prepared on the basis of qualifying exam.
- The candidates who are allotted a seat will have to report to the institute to complete the process of admission.
