COMEDK UGET 2022

Admission into BE/ B.Tech degree course offered by numerous institutes of Karnataka will be given on the basis of COMEDK UGET 2022. Application form for the same will be released in online mode on 14th March 2022. Interested candidates are suggested to ensure their eligibility before applying for the entrance test. Candidates from all over the country are open to take the test and get enrolled into the engineering college of their choice. However, only the candidates belonging to state of Karnataka can claim for reservation under any category.

Main Highlights

  • Multiple application forms from the same candidate may result in disqualification of the candidate.
  • A hard copy of the filled-in application form must be kept by the candidates in case of further correspondence.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the counseling venue without the print out of online rank card.
  • Username and password generated at the time of registration must be kept safe as it will be used for further login to download admit card, rank card, etc.
  • Facility to download the admit card will be disabled a day before the entrance test and therefore the candidates must take the printout beforehand.

Eligibility Criteria

The following eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the candidates applying for COMEDK UGET 2022:

For engineering courses:

  • The candidates should have passed their 2nd PUC/ class 12th or equivalent exam with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Electronics and English as mandatory subjects.
  • A minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates of Karnataka) along with individual pass in the above-mentioned subjects is required.

For architecture courses:

  • Applicants need to clear their 2nd PUC/ class 12th or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in order to be eligible.
  • A minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate is required.
  • The candidates must also clear any recognized aptitude test in Architecture (NATA or equivalent) in the year 2020.
  • There will be no entrance test for admission to B.Arch Course.

COMEDK UGET Application Form 2022

The candidates can obtain the application form for COMEDK UGET 2022 by visiting the official website www.comedk.org. At first, the candidates will have to register themselves after which they can fill and submit their application.

  • Applicants will be asked to provide basic details such as name, date of birth, email address, phone number, etc in the registration form.
  • An OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number using which the candidates can complete the registration process.
  • Once the registration is complete, a username and password will be sent to the candidates through SMS and email.
  • Using this username and password, the candidates can login to their account and fill the application form.
  • In the application form, personal and educational details will be provided and scanned copies of photograph, signature and other documents will also be uploaded.
  • After providing all the information as asked into the application form, it can be submitted with the application fee.

Application fee:

  • The application fee for COMEDK UGET will be Rs. 1500/- and Rs. 2400/- for COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE both.
  • Candidates can make payment of the application fee using credit card or debit card or net banking.

Admit Card

  • The Test Admission Ticket (TAT) or admit card for the entrance exam will be made available on the official website.
  • Candidates will be able to download their admit card by logging into the respective accounts using their username and password.
  • After downloading, the candidates must check the details mentioned in the admit card and should report any discrepancy to the authorities.
  • Admit card along with a valid identity proof must be carried by the candidates to the exam center.
  • No candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall in the absence of any of these documents.

Answer Key

  • The answer key of the entrance exam will be uploaded on the official website www.comedk.org.
  • In case of discrepancy in the answer key, the candidates fill the query in the online challenge form clearly indicating the grievance with all necessary enclosures.
  • A fee of Rs. 500/- per clarification also needs to be submitted along with the request.
  • After clarification, a final answer key will be prepared and published online.

Result & Counseling

  • Result of the COMEDK UGET 2022 will be published in online mode as per the specified schedule.
  • Test scores and rank card of the candidates will be made available under applicant’s login.
  • Candidates should download and take a printout of their rank card as it will be required at the time of counseling.
  • A final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the entrance test.
  • Counseling of the candidates will be conducted as per their names in the merit list.
  • During counseling, documents of the candidates will be verified and they will be allowed to provide choice for the institutes.
  • Seats will be allotted to the candidates after successful document verification according to the choice of the candidates.
