AP LAWCET 2022: Application Form (Available), Exam Date, Syllabus, Exam Pattern

AP LAWCETSri Krishnadevaraya University, Ananthpuramu will conduct the AP LAWCET 2022 exam on behalf of APSCHE, Hyderabad. This exam will offer admissions to 3 years and 5 Years LLB degree courses in various universities and colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. AP LAWCET 2022 is going to be an online (Computer Based) Test having 120 Questions. The duration of exam will be 90 minutes. It is being notified that the application form is available from 13th May 2022. The mode of application will be online. The application form submitted by post or any other offline medium will be summarily rejected.

The exam pattern for AP LAWCET 2022 will be as follows:

Mode of Exam: Online (Computer Based Test)

Number of Questions: 120

Type of Questions: Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions

Duration of Exam: 90 Minutes

Maximum Marks: 120

Marking Scheme: Each question will carry 1 mark

Negative Marking: There is no provision for negative marking.

Language of Exam: The questions will be asked in both English and Telugu languages.

AP LAWCET Syllabus 2022

The university will not release any syllabus for the AP LAWCET 2022 exam. However, there are some important topics based on previous year exam as given below:

General Knowledge: Indian History, Indian Polity, Economy, Indian Culture & Heritage etc.

Mental Ability: Direction and Distances, Symbols and Notations, Coding & Decoding, Linear Arrangements, Problems Based on Symmetry, Data Sufficiency Test, Blood Relationships, Alphabet Test, Analytical Reasoning etc.

Current Affairs: Scientific Discoveries and Inventions, Polity, Awards and Achievements, Economics etc.

Aptitude for the Study of Law: Public International Law, Mercantile Law, Labour Law, Crimes and Torts, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Copyright Act, Human Rights, The Right to Information Act, State Jurisdiction, United Nations etc.

How to prepare for AP LAWCET 2022 Exam

The aspiring candidates may follow the tips and tricks given below in order to score good marks in the AP LAWCET exam.

  • Prepare a daily routine for yourself using a timetable. Try to follow this timetable with full dedication.
  • Go through the exam pattern and syllabus of the exam. This will help you in making a preparation strategy for the exam in a better way.
  • Collecting the right study material is also very important. You should do proper research about the books than buy them for the preparation.
  • Regular revision is extremely necessary. You should keep revising the topics you have already studied.
  • Try to solve as many mock tests and question papers as possible before the exam. This will help you determine how your preparations are going.

AP LAWCET Eligibility Criteria 2022

The candidates need to satisfy the following eligibility criteria in order to apply for the AP LAWCET 2022 exam.

Nationality

  • The candidate must be an Indian National.

Domicile

  • The candidate should satisfy the Local / non-local status requirement as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order, 1974 and the amendments made from time to time.

Educational Qualification

For 3 year LLB Course

  • The candidate must have a Bachelor Degree in 10+2+3 pattern with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates and 42% for OBC candidates)
  • If the candidates don’t have 45% marks in graduation but have a PG degree with 45% marks then they can also apply.

For 5 Year LLB Course

  • The Candidate must have passed 10+2 with 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST candidates and 42% for OBC candidates)

AP LAWCET Application Form 2022

The application form for AP LAWCET 2022 exam is now available only in online mode through the official website i.e. www.sche.ap.gov.in.

  • The first step of the application process is application fee submission via online method or through the AP ONLINE / TS ONLINE Centers.
  • After successful fee payment, the candidate can check the status of their application fee submission from the official website.
  • Once the application fee is verified, the candidates can start the application form submission.
  • In the application form, the candidates have to enter the Payment reference ID and all the necessary personal, educational and contact details.
  • Along with the details, the candidates have to upload the scanned images of passport size photograph and signature.
  • The scanned images should be in .jpg or .jpeg format. The size of the photograph should be less than 50 KB and the size of the signature should be less than 30 KB.
  • The candidates should take the printout of submitted application form for the future reference.

Application Fee

The application fee for the AP LAWCET 2022 exam will be Rs. 809/- (Rs. 750 application fee + Rs. 59 processing fee).

Mode of Payment

  • The candidates can pay the application fee in online mode using a credit card, debit card or net banking.
  • Alternatively, the candidates can visit the AP ONLINE / TS ONLINE Centers to pay the application fee by cash.

Admit Card 

  • The AP LAWCET 2022 Admit card will be available in online mode through the official website.
  • In order to download the admit card, the candidates have to enter the Payment Reference ID, Registration Number, Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket No, Mobile Number and Date of Birth.
  • The important information related to the AP LAWCET 2022 exam such as exam date, time and venue will be mentioned on the admit card.
  • No candidate will be permitted to appear for the exam without a valid admit card.
  • The candidate should keep the admit card safe till the admission process gets completed.

Result

  • The university will declare the result in online mode.
  • The candidates can check the result by entering their registration number and LAWCET Hall ticket no.
  • The result card will contain the information regarding the merit wise ranks secured by the candidates.
  • Please note that there is no provision for re-totaling or re-evaluation.
  • The candidates can download their rank card one week after the declaration of result.
