AP ICET 2022: Application Form, Syllabus, Exam Pattern

APICETAndhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET 2022) will be conducted by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of A.P. State Council of Higher Education. The admissions will be provided in the 1st year of MBA, MCA and 2nd year lateral entry to MCA course. It is quite a reputed exam considered by a large number of institutes in Andhra Pradesh in order to provide the admissions. It is an online exam carrying 200 questions of 1 mark each. It is being notified that the application form for AP ICET 2022 has been made available from 12th May 2022. The mode of application will be online. AP ICET Exam Pattern 2022

The candidates preparing to appear for the AP ICET 2022 exam should check the exam pattern given below:

Mode of Exam: Online

Number of Questions: 200

Type of Questions: Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions.

Duration of Exam: 150 Minutes

Maximum Marks: 200

Marking Scheme: Each question will carry 1 mark

Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking.

AP ICET Syllabus 2022

The syllabus for the AP ICET 2022 exam will be as follows:

Analytical Ability: This section will be focused on determining the problem solving ability of a candidate. For this section, the candidates should practice from the topics such as data analysis, sequence and series, coding & decoding, date and time problem etc.

Mathematical Ability: Profit & Loss, Work and Time, Partnership, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Statistics, Probability, Ratio & Proportions, Surds & Indices, Profit & Loss, Percentage, Statements and Truths etc.

Communication Ability: The candidate will be tested in the understanding of the English language, comprehension, Grammar, vocabulary etc.

AP ICET Eligibility Criteria 2022

The candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria given below in order to appear for the AP ICET 2022 exam.

Nativity

  • The candidate should be an Indian National satisfying the non-local/ local status of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Educational Qualification

The education qualification depends upon the course in which the candidate is looking for an admission.

MBA

  • The candidate must have a 3 years bachelor’s degree with 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates)
  • The aspirant must have studied Mathematics at class 10th

MCA

  • The applicant must have a 3 years bachelor’s degree with 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates)
  • The candidate must have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in graduation or 10+2 level.

MCA 2nd Year (lateral entry)

  • The candidate must have BCA degree or any other degree in IT/CS with at least with 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates).
  • The aspirant must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level.

Note: The candidate appearing for the final year exam of graduation can also apply.

AP ICET Application Form 2022   

The application form for AP ICET 2022 has been released in online mode through the official website i.e. sche.ap.gov.in/ICET.

  • To initiate the application process, the candidates have to pay the application fee either online or by cash at AP online center.
  • After application fee payment, the candidates can move on to fill application form using the Payment ID.
  • In the application form, the candidates have to enter all the mandatory academic, personal and contact details.
  • In addition to the details, the candidates have to upload the scanned images of passport size photograph and signature.
  • The format of the uploaded images should .jpg or .jpeg. The size of the photograph should be less than 50 KB while the size of signature should be less than 30 KB.
  • The candidates should not forget to take a printout of submitted application form for future reference.

Application Fee

  • The registration fee will be Rs. 550/- for all the candidates irrespective of their categories.

Mode of Payment

  • The candidate can pay the application fee online by using a credit card, debit card or internet banking.
  • The interested candidates can also pay the application fee by cash at AP Online center.

Admit Card

  • The applicants will be able to download the admit card from the official website i.e. www.sche.ap.gov.in/icet.
  • The details regarding the exam schedule and venue will be mentioned on the admit card.
  • It is mandatory for every aspirant to carry admit card at the examination venue.
  • Please note that the AP ICET Admit Card 2022 will also be required at the time of admission, so the candidate should preserve it even after the exam.

Result

  • The result of AP ICET 2022 exam will be released in online mode through the official website.
  • The result will be declared in the form of a merit list.
  • Please note the AP ICET qualifying mark 2022 for the candidates in order to get their name in the merit list is 25%. It means the candidate who will score more than 25% marks will be assigned a rank.
  • The rank obtained by the candidate will be valid for the admission to 2022-2023 sessions only.
  • The AP ICET Rank Card 2022 will be released separately from the merit list.
